I read that junior book as well, It doesn't really ruin anything, its too vague. You do get the plot across with some major details only.

I read through the prequel & most of the movie adaptation, I've only got a few pages left to finish it off... But, I'm still looking to pick up the Comic adaptation & see the movie...

I'm really looking forward to the flick!

In the last few months before Star Wars episode III came out, I read every possible spoiler, until I knew everything there was to know about the story, a lot of the quotes (including many jokes) and the outcome of all the battles.
And yet, that film instantly became my favorite movie ever.

So just to say, the movie doesn't have to be 'ruined' fpr you. You might know now what's going to happen. but the execution of it might still blow you away.

Besides, it's not really a surprise ol' Megs won't survive. It's like all comic book movies in which they always kill off major comic villains which have been around for decades. These movies start with a clean sheath and since there won't be as many TF movies as there have been cartoons and comics, they have to show a little bit of all in a few films. Having a trilogy dealing with Megs only is boring. Who knows, perhaps he returns in a sequel as Galvatron along with the introduction of Unicron

Spoilers don't ruin movies or TV for me, if anything they get me more interested to see the whole story and how events are completely played out.

This is hilarious, I'm pretty sure I started reading the same book. It was too easy the illustrations were awesome... Lucky my girlfriend stopped me.

i dunno, i don't actively seek spoilers, but if i happen to run across one, i just kinda ease it out of my mind. i've seen plenty of movies that i knew what was going to happen, but there's something about a movie theatre, a bucket of corn, and a slushy that makes you forget.

Reading spoilers or not, you still just gotta see it. To read it is one thing but to see it happen is another. Especially with this movie because the special effects and the actual transformers look so real.

Read the book to and can't wait for the movie. (but as to your spoiling it for yourself -- I have read adaptations that were off on several points from the movie )

You really can't ruin this one for yourself

what happens to megs is in my full review but anyway.

it is sometimes nice to know what is going on, it helps understand the movie more and i enjoy tv shows and movies that i see spoilers to or get to watch in this case. after already seening it and knowing mostly what happened, i am so stoked about watching it again and again. Just watching the transformations and megan fox works for me. I might get hated on for this but i loved id4, i can watch it over and over again. good sci fi movie.
and the funny lines in movies, they might be given away but when you watch the movie and see the context as to which they were used.
