Hey, I posted this on the superbowl thread. It was just a random thought I had but I wondered what others thought. This is what I posted:

I am hoping for to a big show down with Optimus vs Megatron vs Shockwave with this movie. I would even like it if Megs and Prime teamed up. This Megatron was corrupted by the Fallen after all. Now he is dead, Megs might get his senses back thanks to Shockwave and team up with his brother. Please give us some robot on robot action in the Superbowl spot.

Megatron was corrupted by that monolith the Constructicons found on Cybertron. Up until then he was the Lord High Protector, ruling Cybertron side by side with his brother Optimus Prime (wouldn't that mean Megatron is a Prime?). Anyway, it was the Fallen that turned Megatron to the dark side, now that the Fallen is unable to influence Megatron, he might be able to redeem himself. It is something that they haven't done in Transformers before, Megatron turning good and staying good (well, except Shattered Glass but he was always good in that universe). I think Megatron & Optimus Prime vs Shockwave would be a great final battle for this series.

Anyway, if they did that in DOTM, what would your reaction be?

Like Darth Vader in RotJ?


Nothing against your idea, but I hope not. I like my Megatron bad as bad can be. I never liked it when he and the Decepticons teamed up with the Autobots.

This isn't Lucasworld, so hopefully that doesn't happen. I liked Megatron very much from the first film, when he was just evil. In RotF he became a bitch, but at least he lived. With the Fallen gone, hopefully he goes back to being a ruthless badass. It would make his death worth more.

I have always been a fan of Shockwave from the comics, so if his personality is like that, I hope he hands both Prime and Megatron their exhausts. Yeah, I know he lost against Optimus when they fought, but this being the movieverse, if Prime could get a badass upgrade, why not Shockwave? Except make his the ultimate, ruthless character. Hell, maybe even take Galvatron's place as a herald for Unicron, thus having unstoppable Unicron powers. Until, of course, Prime whips out the Matrix. But if there is to be a showdown between Megatron and Shockwave, I hope it is like it was in the comics, and Shockwave trashes Megatron within an inch of his life. Except this Shockwave would actually kill Megatron. For good.

On a somewhat related note, I hope in DotM Starscream dies a horrible, painful, and spectacular death at the hands of either of those 3. Preferably Megatron.

for me Megatron is a total Tyrant so I defo wouldnt like to see this

Maybe they could team up to fight Shockwave, finish him and then fight their final battle.

I would totally want to seee that it would be a coll ending to the movie.

I think Megatron will be his normal self after the whooping he took at the end of ROTF. His face is damaged, left arm trashed even more--he wants revenge against OP. Maybe he takes the tanker mode to finally blend in and be less noticeable, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.

I would not like to see this.Megatron is not good in any way shape or form-its not buried deep within or anything like that.

i think megatron will go all the way to the end with shockwave untill the point were he'l realise no one is going to survive, so to save himself he stabs shockwave in the back then prime takes over and kills him giving megatron a classic ''RETREEET!'' ,
I can see prime getting kicked to bits again off shockwave while megatron does the phanton of the opera act hiding probly a bit skitso sending out decepticons on his missions by doing that hopefully more autobots and more 1 on 1 fights, prime still winning the day and keeping the story open if bay is only doing 3 let somebody else have a go he should'nt get to end it after only 3 movies.

my thoughts...
Megs and optimus fight to the death while shockwave is commanding the decepticons to fight of the other auto bots nearby but somehow shockwave will die...unfortunatly
