After recently seeming to interview just about everyone involved with the Transformers movie or new PRIME TV series, MTV makes sure to get a few questions to legendary voice actor, and freedom for sentient species advocator, Peter Cullen who happens to be involved in both projects.

See what MTV asked, and Peter Cullen answered here. But be warned there is a bit of a spoiler for a piece of DOTM's plot.

Topics include his inspirations for Optimus' voice, his favorite voices to do, current questions involving TF PRIME and his fellow actors, projects Mr. Cullen would like to do with NASA, and of course, his tiny piece of spoilerific plot and character description.

It never dawned on me that he was the voice actor for "Eeyore" on Winne the Pooh. Very cool.

Prime has spoken. Bay's a pretty cool guy.

So what was the spoiler? I dont care what prime says i still hate bay.

I would say the "spoiler" is that Prime shares a scene with Buzz Aldrin. Not much of a spoiler.

Unless you work on a TF news site where a vocal portion of the community wants spoilers to be held at Bay (pun intended).

But see, this is what i don't understand. Why do you hate him? What has he truely done to you that makes you feel this way? I'm not trying to open up another can of worms, but this is why fans of the movie can get defensive at times. Not that i love the guy or anything, but i just don't see hating someone based on someone not doing what you would have liked to see with TF on the big screen. (i can only presume this is your reason. If it is not i retract my previous statment and apoligise)

I think the spoiler is when he said he was on set with the other actors, because he's used to being in his sound booth...

Gotta love Cullen. And I love the fact he admires Bay; so do I!

Peter Cullen seems like a really nice guy.

That's pretty funny, and ironic as well, that Peter Cullen and Frank Welker are such good friends.

I just now realized his initials are "PC". That's funny!

I really hope he is able to swing some kind of deal with NASA and Discovery Network to have a NASA kids show on the Hub. It also speaks volumes as to just how iconic Optimus Prime is if NASA has an award named for him to present to youngsters.
As with all of Mr. Cullen's interviews, I really enjoyed reading this one. I can't think of a single actor from any other show or movie that would leave me speechless if I met them in person but if I were in the presence of Peter Cullen and/or Frank Welker I'd probably turn into a blathering idiot. That's just how damn awesome those guys are.

Agreed. Those tow individuals, though rarely seen, their voices have had such an impact in the entertainment industy over the last 25+ yrs more than anyone else i can think of. And the fact that their both as humble as they are just makes them so much more likeable.
