Michaelbay Dot Com has reported that while some of the last pickup scenes were being filmed for Dark Of The Moon production offices for the movie were burgled and that the federal authorities had been called in. So far it hasn't been revealed what effect, if any the crime will have on the production of the movie

I certainly hope that this was a burglary for the sake of theft, and not the actions of a "Fan" thinking that doing something stupid like this would somehow send Bay a message.
Whatever that message is suppose to be.

The movie probably revealed too much exposer on something extraterrestrial and someone stepped in to remove such coverage.

Which will probably turn the movie in to suckville. Thanx NEWW0R1D 0RD3R for screwin us over.

Wow, I wonder what they actually stole. Considering Michael Bay works closely with the military/Pentagon in almost all his movies, the burglars probably walked away with something bigger than they realized

is it just me or does bay get robbed alot? if the person was trying to sabotage the movie then they were to late, if you want to screw with the movie you steal something vital halfway through filming at near the end. Was probably either a set up to get the movie more exposure or it was the government stealing something bay recorded that he wasnt suppose to.

I just hope no-one lost their jobs over this; joking aside this is a pretty serious deal.
That said Alternator77's comment was funny.

Oh no... not the MTV Movie Awards for "Best Leg Humping Scene" and "Best Giant Swinging Robot Testicle Scene"! I'd be pissed.

Don't count on it slowing down production much. It was more likely that the personal effects of the individuals working there were probably lifted, maybe a laptop or two and whatever hard copy files (yes, they still exist) were laying about on the desktops. Anyone wishing to do either irreparable damage or to make off with a profitable degree of hardware or data is going to need way more time to facilitate such things than what most people are willing to risk and the really juicy stuff is spread out over multiple locations anyways. Bay doesn't have anything that would be considered "Sensitive Material" from a Military standpoint so speculation over that is pointless. The DOD only let's you see what THEY want you to see, even if you are Michael Bay.
The reason for Federal involvement would more likely be in regards to Federal Copyright protection and possibly for Identity theft risks if the burglars got a hold of W2 or 1099 forms for the employees concerning the payroll. That would have Social Security numbers and home addresses on them and would fall under Federal jurisdiction.
If it was a "fan" that pulled this off, I call dibs on his collection because if he gets caught, he sure as hell won't be enjoying it any time soon and he darn sure doesn't deserve to have it in the first place.

Oh my GOD they stole the PLOT!
Police have been informed to look for a 3x5 index card with writing on BOTH sides.

AMAZING response! Best part of that paragraph.

Sometimes, fellow Seibertronians, we make such hilarious comments that me thinks I hear the God Zeus on high chuckle.

Ahhhhh,
You know what I smell, the possible release of yet another Pirated copy of DOTM over the web. Kinda like the "Wolverine" film that hit the web some time ago...that everyone blamed was respnsible for the lack luster performance at the theatres.......
BWAHAHAHAHA
.....Anyways I see either a very rough cut of the film hitting the web or a script.

YES! This is exactly what I was thinking! It's always the government! They put too much info in the movie, now they send someone in to take stuff out.

Bay probably leaked the movie so that when it bombs in theatres he can blame it on pirates.

Wow. I didn't even consider it may not have been a fan deed until I read your thoughts.
Everyones comments are unexpected, and very funny

, but especially if this was a fan, that's pretty low.
There's been a fair bit of bad luck around this film, the injured Extra, the Bumblebee crash, the official declarations about the prequel (Rotf) as a failure or whatever the exact words were, the whole public (verbal) brawl with Megan Fox.
Then again, the whole trilogy had a bad start from a fanbase vs. Bay viewpoint.
Oh well.I hope we get some juicy leaked tidbits out of it all.

Well, whatever the case, even if it gets pirated on the web, I am still gonna wait untill it hits the Theaters in July (or later, depending). Dammit, if I'm gonna see it, I want to see the damn thing in 3D, ON WIDESCREEN!!! Like I watched ROTF!

I hope it doesn't effect the plot in any way. Wait, how can it effect something if that thing wasn't there in the first place?
Jokes aside, I do enjoy the movies, just for a different take on Transformers media so I really do hope it doesn't effect any form of an outcome.
