At this week's 77th annual Russian International Film Market, Paramount showcased several trailers for their upcoming summer offerings including Captain America, Super 8, Kung Fu Panda 2, and Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon. Slashfilm.com reader Konstantin attended the event and gave a detailed report for each of the trailers. He comments that the CGI looks like a big step forward compared to the past two movies but reveals some skepticism with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's character and her part in the movie.

The CGI looks even better than the two first films [put] together. There are some really innovative visual decisions and the 3D has an amazing quality. There was one kinda big spot with Sam and his new blond girlfriend that helps him get a job. Since everyone cares about her being in this film, from this spot I can tell that she [demands] much of the attention. It feels so [forced] when the camera catches her to show everyone her sexiness when it’s not really needed. Well, yes, she looks sexy, and from that spot she didn’t [show] any emotion on her face, [either].

How Rosie's character is factored into the storyline remains to be seen but at least it sounds like the movie will be a feast for the eyes even without her.

I hope the human scenes aren't too long. That's another thing I liked about ROTF. The scenes with nothing but humans lasted maybe a minute at the most. Minus the college scene.

I hope the human scenes aren't too long also. And if they are long, I hope they are really important, interesting, or have robot dialogue in the conversations.

I'm happy to hear his praise of the cgi and 3d material. Not real surprised with his thoughts on Rosie. They did the same thing with Megan Fox. Examples being her checking under Bees hood in the first film and the scene of her painting the motorcycle in the second. Bay likes his women, I'm not gonna condemn him for it ;).

See! They should've kept Megan Fox! This girl's gonna suck!
Nahh...I'm just kidding. It's not like they never focused on Megan at all in the first two.

Anyway, this sounds promising. I really hope the camera work is better in this one than in ROTF.

How so? I thought they did a great job slowing down the scenes so you could see who's fighting who better, as well as the overall details.

I liked the college scene lol I thought that transformer that turned into girl was way hotter than megan fox or the new chick.
