Apparently HASBRO has finally gotten fed up with people selling DOTM toys ahead of the May release date. I just purchased DOTM Sentinel Prime from an eBay seller today and now eBay sends me an e-mail saying this auction had to be removed because they claim the item might be counterfeit. I bought DOTM Megatron from the same seller and it came to me with no problems and it is an awesome figure. HASBRO must be thinking they won't make any money if this keeps up. Don’t be surprised if eBay removes all DOTM toys from their site.

Maybe Hasbro and eBay just don't want people buying stolen property, all of these figures on eBay are black market items taken from the factory. It is still 1-1/2 months until the official release date here in the US. They are "rare" because the stores haven't been flooded with them yet.

I ordered DOTM Megatron 6 days ago. Oh Primus I hope this means I wont get a toy I wasted all my freakin' money on

Then again you payed 60 dollars or maybe 80 but it still doesnt matter. I better check mah eMail

Yeah it was taken off but I guess I'll get my money back...

Whoa, yours was canceled? I hope mine was sent out before the hammer came down. I got a tracking number and and e-mail telling me it's been sent. That was almost a week ago. So hopefully it actually was sent.

You're probably gonna be screwed like me, but I can't say that because mine didn't ship yet, but I did get a refund.

I'd like the figure very much, but I won't get too upset over it. It'll be on stores in 2 months anyway. As long as i get a refund, I'll be fine.

Yeah they told the carriers to not ship it so at least I'll have money to buy MORE when it comes out

Well, I got my DotM Megatron in from China today, so I guess I didn't get screwed. And this figure is pretty impressive for a Voyager, in both modes. Hopefully there'll be a Leader version of this, I'll definitely get it.
