While checking my local theater's website, they list the film as having a running time of
135 minutes (2 hours 15 minutes). I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet. That would put this film in the range of most of Bay's other films. Very nice.
Check it out here at Carmike Cinema's
website

Long?
Have you ever seen any of the Lord of the Rings films? Or the new Pirates? (which is long AND boring, the worst combination).
I think between 2 hours and 2 hours and a half is the perfect running for a movie, not too short, not too long.

Sounds like a decent length with room enough for plot and character development as well as action scenes full of giant explosions. Kaboom!

yeah, good to know I'm getting almost my money's worth when going to the theater to see this one. Haven't been to the theater to watch a movie since I got movie money near two years ago.

this one friend of mine once told me that he snuck in a box of pizza once. the length seems fair enough.

thank christ.
dont get me wrong i love TF and im glad its around two hours long its just if we want this to suceed it has to draw in a broad audience and one of the reasons i
didnt go see pirates of the carribean in the cinema is 3 hours is a
looooooog time to spend watching a film your not really that pushed about.
being 135mins actually makes it fairly short in contempory terms so i can see alot of people thinking " ah its not that long if i dont like it, ill give it a shot" and getting converted
good news this

the time is good, i kind of wish it was longer just so i could see more of the robots, but i guess its long enough.

Yep. Still, two hours is a mighty fine length for this movie. A two hour geekasm.

I was thinking it would've been about 110 minutes (1 hour 50 minutes) but I don't really care. I'll have to remember to go to the bathroom beforehand, I can never hold it........

fantastic four 2 is 1 hour 30 min or something like that
movies that are under 2 hours are USUALLY either crap movies or little kid ones.

My ass starts to hurt after an hour or so, but a good film is worth it.
The first fantastic 4 movie really disappointed me.
