Check it out, a group called Black lab have created a new version of the TF Movie theme by Lion. A music video has been created to go along with it using most of the clips we've seen in all the trailers/TV spots.

Check it out here:

Not a bad update to the G1 theme and I pleasant homage to the Lion song.

They should have kept that one and thrown out the other version. I have to say the Black Lab version is a way better rendition of an updated theme than the others I heard for this Soundtrack.

Well of the limited choices of songs recently produced for Transformers it's the best of the handful is what I'm saying.

It's not that bad, but perhaps an instrumental version would be more pleasing. The background and beats are well done in this one. I do agree the singing isn't the greatest, but it's ok. Admittedly they do sound a bit depressed singing the song. :)

That is not emo.

Emo is Fall Out Boy or Hawthorne Heights.

This is indy rock/alternative

too bad they didn't pick this one, its certainly better than the 2 we've heard so far.

only problem i have with it is to me the guitars seem a bit muted (like they should be alittle louder with more reverb) and the vocalist. He's not horrible, but hes not that great either.

Cool Music video

Music: Good.
Vocals: WHAT IN THE BLOODY HELL IS WRONG WITH WHOEVER KEEPS APPROVING THESE WHINEY-ASSED LEAD SINGERS?!?

It's like... wow, it's just really annoying.
And amazingly, it's still better than the MuteMath feces.

It's what the new MTV kids like, so that's what the producers out there thinks everyone wants.
Anyway, like I said, still better than Mutemath.

I wonder which Mute Math one some of you speak of....I still see alot of people mix it with that first TF theme that was, "released".

Although, I never liked this song from the start. It sort of....doesn't do it's namesake any justice.... MHO of course....

the videos cool, but the song just seems to be missing something, i'll definatley agree that the vocals could have been better!

Well, I wish someone'd hurry up, because all these whiney attempts so far are making my nads shrink more with each failure released.
