Betraying and killing hundreds of your own kind and dooming them to a long uncertain trip through space with implications that you just destroyed mankind by denying them the valuable mineral that society needs to hold itself together? All for a piece of cheap alien tail? And you could have avoided all this by saying "Hey, could you please relocate? We'll even help you cause we're not total jerks" about 45 MINUTES INTO THE MOVIE!?
