----SPOILERS--- Conclusions from the trailer.----SPOILERS----

The Twins are in the trailer, but that doesn't mean they'll be in the movie too. I'm pretty sure that they'll be removed from that shot.

Image

Hello Wheeljack (the blue Mercedes/Einstein bot).

Image

The Dreads and the Space Bridge.

Image

Sorry Nelson but these are markers, not Ospreys. Maybe they are meant to be replaced by Ospreys but for now they are markers. There are at least five (only 3 visible here) on one straight line. I hope this will be fixed.

Image

Shockwave stepping over The Driller's dead body.

Image

Still not a single broken street lamp.

Image

I don't know if this is Omega Supreme or just a regular shuttle, but it's been built by some of the Autobots. And I believe this shot is in the end of the movie. I think all of the survived Autobots board the shuttle and leave the Earth for good. Remember the movie has a definite end.

Image

This is the same scene as the previous one (look at Shia's shirt). Shia is all cleaned up, Simmons is fixed and he is saying goodbye to Optimus. Definitely the end of the movie. And I don't know but I get the feeling that Carly dies at the end. Look how devastated is Shia.

Image

This will be very dark and emotional movie. A great end of a great franchise. Thank you Michael for devoting the last 7 years for this.

I don't agree with you that Carly dies. In an interview she did, she stated she would love for there to be another so she could be in it.

I would believe that Sam would be devastated by his friends leaving him. Think about it. You just spent over six years with these aliens that have risked their lives for you and now, after so much has happened, they are leaving you. I know that when a friend of mine moves away, it's pretty sad. But, it's only in another state or country. Can't imagine Sam would hop on a space shuttle every year to pay a visit to Cybertron.

Wheeljack will be an great addition. Still think MB may be pulling one of his famous misinformation campaigns with saying the twins won't be in it... they'd make great cannon fodder for Shockwave or Crankcase. As for the Red Ferrari... maybe Mirage? He's in the prequel comics with Wheeljack. Then again, there is a F1 car in the DOTM toy lineup... Cliffjumper, anyone?

I want to see them return too, but for a different reason. In RotF they where just kids, acting immature and never taking the situation seriously no matter how dire it became. I'd like to see Skids and Mudflap return having matured and acting like adults. You know, develop their characters rather than kill them just cause they where unpopular.

And maybe reintroduce the original plan for them: that they're each one half of a two part combiner. Maybe growing up unlocked that ability? I'd like to see it personally. :D

I shot over to shootfortheedit.com (Bay's website and forum) were Nelson has stated that the next person that brings up the twins will be getting banned from the site. Personaly i think thats crap concidering he clearly said the twins won't be in the movie, but then we see shots of them in the trailer. Now at this point i'm not saying he's lieing. Cause your right Albershide. They could very well be removed before the movie is released and this was just an editting mistake. But don't let stuff like this slip through the crack and then expect no one to bring it up. I hope for Nelson's sake that this truely is a mix up and they re removed intirely from the movie. Other wise he's not only going to look like quite the fool, but his word will be completely meaning less. We'll see in a few weeks.

:APPLAUSE: Like the man or not, Like his vision or not, he has helped this franchise in more ways than we can imagine. Made lots of money for the franchise, and introduced us to new renderings as well as brought many of our hero's to the big screen in a way that probably no one else could. All this while taking some serious heat from critic and fans alike. Thanks Micheal. Should we ever have the chance to meet, the first round is on me. :D

The comic book store here didn't get the actual Movie prequel comics, just he storyline behind Optimus and Megatron. Does Jolt die during Shockwave's slaughter at Diego Garcia?

I think the scene with Sam, Simmons, OP and the spaceship follows the "grave mistake" scene with Galloway's female replacement. I've seen a topic where there is a book entitled Betrayal of the Autobots; and in ROTF, OP said they would leave if asked. Maybe they leave, the 'Cons decide it's time to begin their assault since the humans are without allies. Someone gets a message to the Autobots and they return either from a trip to Cybertron or the Moon.

Yup. After OP tells the humans "You've made a grave mistake", they step outside for a litle "chat". Thaat combined with the all the "autobots go home" spray painted across the city, the autobots might have just had enough.

OK, so I've been thinking about it a little more. (man i can't believe I'm analyzing this as much as i am), but if you think about what Optimus says..

"You may loose faith in us, but never in yourselves. From here, the fight is your own".

This leads me to believe that they are being asked to leave. I don't think people would have less faith in them at the end after they save (well, presumably) Chicago/world. My guess is they leave in the middle, and come back toward the end.

It was such a stupid and pointless slaughter of characters.

His Transformers, sorry Bayformers, have been far form perfect for us long time fans in the shape of a million different things that we would have done differently but overall he's done a great job and as you have said; he's brought new life to Transformers and helped make them cool for a new generation of kids. The result of which is more toys for everyone and without question a reboot in a few years time from now with possibly new versions of the Transformers, new human characters and a new director (and yet more new toys!).
Thank you Michael Bay. I hope that after watching DOTM we'll all agree that you did a great job. :APPLAUSE:

@ cuiser 5150;

i'm with your logic, early/mid point in film :BOT: leave/prepare to depart then the :CON: go on offensive.

Any one got any background on the dreads, i'm kinda thinking they are the two quadraped bots on the moon running to the space bridge, i've got little to base this on other than a little bit i remember reading refering to them as instinctive hunters

Possibly Starscream's death on 1:47 - 1:49 on the trailer. This had already been pointed out before many times.

TRUE SPOILER:
Um actually the twins are in the film and that is a shuttle not sentinel. The autobots are basically blackmailed by the decepticons to leave earth in a ship and it is blown up by starscream but really the autobots were never inside it. Sam is so sad cause his girlfriend has been kidnapped by her own boss who is in chicago while they are in DC. Sentinel kills the twins, wheeljack, ironhide, and mirrage i believe. He is the real villain and traitor to the autobots.

Just cause the twins are in the novel doesn't mean they're in the film.

I didn't get the info from just the novel, there are reviews and one of them stated that the twins were in it. Besides they are in the trailers, there are vids on youtube with filming shoots of them in it and plus I personally wanna see them die in the next film so they probably are.

Are you referring to the Ain't It Cool News review? If so, the author stated that the original review was not clear re: The Twins, and he went on to state that they are not in the film.

no it wasn't that review, but thats besides the point. Who cares if the twins are in it or not, I just thought it would be nice to see them die a horrible painful melting death from Sentinel who later opens up a can of whoop ass on both optimus and megatron hahaha! I really don't care either way I just anticipate the arrival of the only good transformer live action film. Third time really is a charm I guess.

i doubt the scene with the shuttle is the final scenes

would seem a bit disappointing to reveal ending in trailer
