Canadian rockers Art of Dying have updated their Official Homepage and their Official facebook page with some interesting Transformers DOTM soundtrack information. According to this post the soundtrack will feature their song "Get Thru This" as well as songs from Staind, My Chemical Romance, Skillet, and Theory of a Deadman. Art Of Dying's "Get Thru This" from their new album Vices and Virtues
will be featured on the new Transformers: Dark Of The Moon Soundtrack, coming 6/14. You can pre-order the full album now. The album also features songs from Linkin Park, Staind, My Chemical Romance, Skillet, Theory of a Deadman and more!

The Goo Goo Dolls have also revealed via their Official Homepage that their new song "All That You Are" will also be featured on the soundtrack.

There is a new Goo Goo Dolls song, "All That You Are" featured on the Transformers 3 soundtrack.

Mastodon are also getting in on the action, they've posted on their Official facebook page that their ZZ Top cover "Just Got Paid" will also be featured on the soundtrack. They also make mention of Black Veil Brides in their post mirrored below.

Mastodon will be on the upcoming Transformers: Dark Of The Moon soundtrack, coming June 14th. They will have their cover of ZZ Top's classic "Just Got Paid" featured, alongside cuts from Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Black Veil Brides and more. Pre-order the album now!

Update: After the previously mentioned public announcements today a full track list has surfaced! Film Music Reporter and Metal Storm have both posted the following the track list. As you can see all the bands that were mentioned by Mastodon and Art of Dying are present plus a few others.

This lineup sucks. No disrespect, but it is too "Middle America" for me...

with Art of Dying and Skillet im already impressed. And rated X if most fans hated the twins why would they want 3-6 mafia on the soundtrack, those fools are just real life versions of the twins.

I think the song from My Chemical Romance will be "The Only Hope For Me Is You" It just sounds so fitting.

I had a scathing, anger-laden post all typed out and decided to delete it and start over since I knew it would piss-off probably more than half of you (not like that has ever stopped me before) but I decided to be nice.
Those of you who aren't raising kids of your own, quit bitching!!

So far it looks like a fairly reasonable soundtrack. Could be a bit more variety in it but I do hesitate to pass full judgement until I can see the movie and really get a feel for the various scenes. It may well be that the overall tone of the movie and pace of the action will eliminate certain genres of music altogether from being shoe-horned into a soundtrack. Some of what myself and others may want simply might not be right for this film.
Something else those of you pissing and moaning about the selection might want to keep in mind before condemning it entirely. I can tell you right now that my absolute favorite metal band in the world has absolutely NO PLACE in a Transformer film and I'm perfectly fine with that.

MCR is terrible now, just like Linkin Park

The other movie soundtracks are not "garbage". I like them fine.

i always wonder what bands people think should be on these soundtracks. At least rated X gave suggestions of hip hop artists he would like to hear. Everyone else is just bitching. Well what would have made it better?

Even though it has my favorite band on it (Skillet and Linkin Park), I never buy nor listen to these soundtracks. I do love Iridescent and The Quickening (Awake and alive)though.

I liked the first Movie soundtrack, it was something different for me. The second one was just too full-on rock for me though. I don't reckon I'll get this one.

I still need to nab the score for the first movie...

I'll pick up the score, but I'll skip the album. The only band on there I even come close to liking is Linkin Park, and then it's a huge once in a while thing.

Linkin Park, MCR, Taking Back Sunday and Goo Goo Dolls? Awesome.
