OK I dont know if this has been posted yet or not. Nor do I know if it is old news but I just found a funny as heck clip of Shia talking to his dad at the door and trying to keep his dad out of the yard while the autobots are clearly visible. Then Optimus smashes the bird bath...... Pay close attention to bumblebee here too!
LOL Watch here:

Eh, it was ok. Although I give it a couple more hours before it's yanked off youtube.

Although, I do have to say, they do emote well. At least Bumblebee does.

Remember the episode of Futurama, where Bender was launched into space, and then he became God for a race of tiny people.

You know how he tried to do miracles for them, and ended up injuring/killing or crushing them with a quarter?

Sure he meant well, he just made and oops or two. Not used to dealing with smaller people.

Same thing with Prime. He means well, he's just not used to dealing with humans who are much smaller than himself and other transformers.

I think Shia LaBeouf will save a lot of this movie. Under a different actor, that scene would have been terrible, but he brings something honest yet still funny to it.

I havnt seen him in anything but his small roles in constantine and i,robot. But from what ive seen of him in the trailers and especially this new clip he seems to be the perfect choice for the role.

Watch Disturbia, and from what I've seen in the trailers for Surf's up it looks funny.

Funny. Bumblebee looks hilarious with his finger over his speaker. Prime must not like birds though.

I love the way he tries to shoosh prime away. His hand gestures are brilliantly animated.

You know, that's probably EXACTLY what it would be like if Transformers suddenly became real.

shia easily makes the movie better. he makes it funny the way he acts but is still serious when he needs to be.

Oh yeah. This movie is gonna rock. Did anybody notice the laugh track, though?

The best part is Sam's face at the end.

I'm tired of all the Shia haters. That kid's all right.

It wasn't a laugh track. That clip was shown when Shia was on the Tonight show. The laughing is the Audience.

Actually, the movie itself was filmed in front of a live studio audience. TF's and all.

I agree when I first heard that Tobey was gonna be Spiderman I was like "What?" but then I saw it, and he totally pulled it off great. So I think Shia will be great too, :D he's got a coolness factor about him I think. A nerdy intensity, nerdy in a good way, I'm more concerned that the Robots are not going to have enough lines in the films. Lots of action but not enough lines, that concerns me. CoolArse Bots with lots of Guns/Explosions but not enough of the great transformer literature we're used to... :-( :-?
