After War of the Worlds, I'm not so sure it's such a good idea. Then again, it could be a LOT worse...like Uwe Boll or Brett Ratner worse.

I think it's just Tyrese spouting off. He's a cool guy, I even met him at BotCon, but unless Spielberg says so, I take it as hot air.

As far as I'm concerned, Spielberg directing would be like trading out Darth Vader for Emperor Palpatine. Spielberg was a hell of a director at one time, but I think his talent has become polluted by his success. Kingdom of The Crystal Skull was a complete joke. I don't think I've ever hated myself so much while watching a movie.

Like that would last, lol. That would hopefully mean a new chapter for the movies free of human interference.

Tyrese runs his mouth with nothing to back it up.

If Spielberg wanted to direct one of these films, he had three chances. There's no reason to assume he'd take over on the fourth one.

lol what? this is absolutely ridiculous. as if Speilberg has sunk so low to take sequel scraps from that hack Michael Bay.

The movieverse was fun, but its time to say goodbye.

F*CK MY LIFE.... JUST F*CK IT WITH NO LUBE!
Honestly, I Wan't transformers to blow up into like, 6 movies. but you know steven!
He'll use all the big ideas first, leaving nothing. NOTHING for potential sequels. He'll unicron the hell out of TF4, and try to make a TF5, but there wont be anything good, because unicron was already used!
Just look at fantastic four. it hasnt gotten a third installment due to the fact that they used galactus already. I Mean, what could top galactus in a marvel movie?
seeing as he's a giant cloud, storm could, i guess, but still! all good ideas will be used most likely. all that, or unicron will never see the light of day in the first place.
I mean, wasnt omega supreme supposed to be in DOTM?
We havnt heard a thing, and he wasnt in the books, comics, or anything else was he?

Ummm, they only made two FF movies...

I think Spielberg should do it. He's got the talent to do it. Hasbro is making too much cash to stop the movies, and likewise for Dreamworks. I meean, they've made two films at a cost of $350 million total, with a total gross over a billion and a half for a profit well over a billion dollars. It would be stupid in the most extreme way to let it go when they have such a cash cow. Every businessperson knows that if you make money doing something, keep doing it and improving on it until you stop profiting.

Not going to happen. These big names don't like to be married to a project for more than 2-3 movies before they move on to something new (or the studio makes a change). Assuming this one has a definitive ending, expect a reboot in 3-5 years.

"I never liked those characters, and I am glad they're not back. I think that every nationality in the world deserves to walk out of a movie and still feel good about themselves. I think it's a responsibility to the fans. I just didn't like some of the things they were saying, and the way they were going about whatever it was they were doing in that film. To be honest, I didn't think that they added to the movie at all. I guess (Michael Bay) was just feeling something out. Moving on, we're here now. Let's go ahead and close it out. We'll close it out with Trans3: Dark of the Moon!"

glad im not the only one uncomfortable about the twins in rotf

I will make a note of the fact that the twins were not a nationality or a race, nor did they represent a nationality or race.

QFT. Its only racist when you consider their actions/appearance a representation of a race to begin with.

Still, Spielberg directing can lead to nothing good. The man's lost his touch over the years, at least were summer blockbusters are concerened. After War of the Worlds I wouldn't trust him in the director's chair of something like Transformers.

I think this would be awesome. I think Michael Bay did a great job, but I'd love to see what someone else could do with the live action films.
