RIP TFs in Bay movies

I'm in love with all 3 movies...I think they're fantastic.

Just wanted to make a list of all our dead beloved bots on both sides...correct me please if I forget any of them.

Autobots:

Jazz
Jetfire
Ironhide
Que
Sentinel Prime

Decepticons:

Bonecrusher
Blackout
Brawl
Frenzy
Demolishor
Grindor
Sideways
Scorponok
Ravage
Rampage
The Fallen
Laserbeak
The Dreads
Barricade
Starscream
Soundwave
Shockwave
Megatron

Devastator (including all 6 constructicons)

No I don't include Optimus' death in ROTF because he's revived.

This list is for the ones who are dead at the end of the trilogy...ie end of DOTM

Yeah, Devastator is dead. And I also think Wheelie and Brains died in the crash of the Decepticon ship. It crashed cockpit-first, where they were, and that part exploded. They even declared "We're dead" just like Sam declared about Starscream, to make it a point.

Also, don't forget all the nameless Decepticon drones from RotF and DotM.

Yeah, Barricade was killed by the NEST team.

Well instead of gathering all the characters that died and checking to see if you forgot them, I'll just create a list myself:
Autobots:
Jazz
Ironhide
Que
Sentinel Prime
Optimus Prime
Jetfire
Two arcee twins
Wheelie
Brains
Decepticons:
Blackout
Brawl
Devastator
Barricade
Bonecrusher
Grindor
Soundwave
Laserbeak
Starscream
Megatron
Frenzy
Sideways
Mixmaster
Megatron again
The Fallen
countless drones
Shockwave
Demolishor

I think that's all

For some reason I assumed those were Scraplets, eating away at Megatron's wound...

Jolt died in the comics.

Unless they show it in the movie, I don't care what happens in the comics, or the novelization for that matter. Heck, Barricade is destroyed in the comics and novel, so it ends up contradicting anyway.

does anyone seriously care? the bay movies are just HORRIBLE!
sam killing starscream was the most retarded thing ive ever seen in my life and bays piss poor excuse for writting in rotf was just stupid

Also you forgot on your list optimus prime - remember he died in rotf but needed the matrix to bring him back to life.......even tho megatron was brought back to life by just a shard of the allspark and wierdly wheelie or any of the other bits never seemed to suggest trying that option?

Well, not everyone thinks the movies are horrible. I don't at least. I agree StarScream's death was pretty lame though.

That being said, the only two deaths I ever really cared about:Jazz and Scrapmetal/Ze little one.
IronHide to a lesser degree, maybe had I seen DOTM before ROTF it would've been more serious.

I didn't forget Optimus. He died but was revived..so he's not dead

Also, I didn't see the Arcee twins die...they might've but it wasn't shown on-screen as a death

The same could be said of Brains and Wheelie. They probably died, safe assumption...but no definitive on-screen death was shown.

And as I said before, I love the movies. I think they're fantastic. If you don't like 'em, go post your negativity somewhere else.

you can love the bay movies as much as you like, to me however its pretty much watching bay rape my childhood. Its almost as if michael bay has mental issues and was then given a large crayon to write/direct the movies

Take blackout from the first movie - he comes into a military base and wipes them ALL out! all the troops (aside from the guys who ran off) all the choppers, all the tanks and pretty much everything in his wake. Your expecting me to belive some inbread hill billy with a gun and MAGICAL ammo can take down blackout in just afew shots?? like i said before its like some moron with a crayon writes this scripts

im sorry to be so neg about it all but they way half these characters die is piss poor and pathetic. Jazz dies and no one seems to really care (strange the BLACK GUY autobot dies and no one seems TO upset) , blackout dies by some inbread with a gun yet at the very start of the film he wipes out an entire base all on his own!, starscream dies by brown noser le bouff and that stupid hook thingy........because yeah im sure a 60+foot robot that transforms into a jet and that fires missiles and lasers etc would get taken down by a human....sigh....

I know for certain it showed one of them killed in the background in the desert battle
and as for wheelie and brains, their ship is going down and wheelie says "It's been an honor serving with you, buddy" and then the ship impacts. they're dead. they were in the engine room, which undoubtedly detonated. That's like seeing someone enter a car, and then the car explodes. you know they're dead

Does Dino/Mirage die? I know Starscream rips his head off in the novel but he is definately battling Sentinel Prime after Starscreams weak demise. Two different podcasts talk about Dino/Mirage landing on the the top of a car and his head falling off yet I have seen the movie twice and not seen that. In fact, it was the reason I went and saw it a second time.

Maybe it's another off screen death since he is not in the background at the end of the movie.

Anybody know?

It's probably like Barricade's death in the first movie. In the comic and/or novel Optimus kills him after Bonecrusher. It didn't happen in the movie and Barricade was in DotM so if it's not on screen it doesn't count.

Actually, pretty sure the seven or eight missiles that slammed into Blackout were what killed him, the guy shooting him while sliding under was... well, he just THOUGHT he was contributing.

The death of Movieverse Starscream is fitting for the character because he's a sniveling bitch who really was only good at picking on humans. I was pissed at his weak death at first too, but I had read the Reign of Starscream comic before seeing the movie and I made the mistake of confusing THAT Starscream with the guy in the movie. After thinking about it and watching the other two movies though, the death is fitting. I don't think he ever really got more than a lucky shot on any Autobots either, other than Ironhide and Ratchet in the first film, and even then he buggered off before his ass was beaten.

So, for the movie Starscream, having his head blown off by a human kid with a bomb while he flails around like an idiot is fitting. That's just my opinion anyway.

Barricade was in the Prequel for ROTF (a veiled threat) and I remember seeing him die in DOTM.

Two of the Arcee bikes died in ROTF. One by Longhaul as she is calling out to Sam and drives up to him she gets it in the head from behind. The other gets it like 10 seconds later, I think it was also Longhaul that did her in.

And I'm not sure I'd call most of them Drones. Just Decepticons that didn't take a vehicle/alt form. I'd honestly like to see Hasbro make 2-3 of these un-changed / cybertrnian mode guys. Fill in some of the cons since there so outnumbered on my shelves.

The movies comics are based on non-finalised versions of the script, so certain events are different compared to the actual movie. Just so you know. For the sake of clarity, let's consider them two separate-yet-similar universes ;) As such:

Movie
Autobots
Jazz

Jetfire
Two Arcee bikes, "Arcee" and "Chromia"

Ironhide
Que / Wheeljack
Sentinel Prime
Brains (Off-screen, but implied)
Wheelie (Off-screen, but implied)

Decepticons
Blackout
Brawl
Bonecrusher
Frenzy

Demolishor
Sideways
Grindor
Ravage
Rampage
Mixmaster
Long Haul
Devastator
The Fallen

The Dreads (Crankcase, Hatchet, Crowbar)
Laserbeak
Shockwave
Driller
Barricade
Soundwave
Starscream
Megatron

Any additonal deaths in the comics?

Don't know about the comics, but Megatron did die in the first movie, too.

What an idiot, typing away like theres no tomorrow. unless Mr. Bay has a time machine, I SERIOUSLY doubt he could ever rape your pathetic childhood. (You probably like Jem and the Holograms over Transformers G1 don't you?)
