The GM Transformers Movie vehicles will be on display from June 22 - June 27, 2007 on Detroit’s new River Walk.

The cars which include, a Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac Solstice, Hummer H2 and GMC Top Kick medium duty truck, will take center stage at the Detroit International River Days presented by GM in collaboration with the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy and The Parade Company.

GM's vehicles all star in this summer's action adventure, "Transformers(TM)," opening July 3, 2007. These stars will be on display at the first-ever, six day festival celebrating the decade-long effort to bring life and excitement to the riverfront and downtown Detroit.

"We are thrilled to have four of GM's most talked about vehicles from this summer's action blockbuster on the river front," said Dino Bernacchi, GM Marketing Alliances and Branded Entertainment. "River Days, being the largest Detroit festival, will give thousands the opportunity to experience these creative vehicles up close."

I might check it out. I'm about half an hour from there now.

I still think the choice of vehicles for bumblebee was bad though. He should have been a yellow Chevy Cobalt.

Well, there goes my theory that GM would actually bring these to show off at Botcon! Maybe Sector 7 will still being their mobile command center...

I know it may have been a bit far fetched, but one can dream!

Sector 7 ends their tour at BotCon, or at least they will indeed be there. I'm sure GM made more than 1 of each of these cars to have on display so I'm still holding out hope that these will be on display at BotCon.

Awesome! I'll get to meet Sector 7! I hope you're right about GM possibly still being there with other cars.

I had a hunch you would be all of over this. Or, in this case your family. :D
