I went to the Rite Aid and they had a Transformer 2008 calendar for sale for $9.99 (with the tf from the movie). Camera phone pictures so they're not the best.

Hey, are those the first renders we've seen of Brawl in there? Think you can get some close ups of him?

No Brawled, no Bonecrushed. 4th image is Blackout, pose similar to wallpaper I-forgot-where, where in his left hand he is supposed to be holding his rotor-weapon.

Hm, alright, thanks, never saw that picture.

SPOILER

Guess it makes sense not to have Bonecrusher or Brawl, they're hardly even in it.

I thought the headline meant that the release calendar for 2008 was going to be based around the movie, which was going to irk me. I want more Classics and Alternators and Robot Heroes and Masterpieces. The movie line has me somewhat intrigued, but not enough to spend my money on.

I didn't really have time before, but I can do it now.

January - Bumblebee
February - Barricade
March - Optimus Prime
April - Blackout
May - "Autobot" Jazz
June - Frenzy
July - Ratchet
August - Megatron
September - Ironhide
October - Starscream
November - Optimus Prime with a focus on his gun
December - Megatron possibly in battle form (mask)

And it is a 2008 calendar, with a small calendar for September-December '07 that include several bots and cons on it. I haven't opened it yet, but I got it for $9.99 (suggested retail price of $13.99).

"A 16-month 2008 calendar".

Geez, gonna be a long year.

(yeah, I know how what they mean, but that's not how they phrased it)

They also had a like "number learning" TF movie based book at Rite Aid. I didn't bother to pick it up though.

Not really interested. It's just the standard clip art/promotional stills that are used everywhere. Might get it eventually since I'll need a calendar, but I'm not exactly impressed here.

DW put one out a few years ago (along with the Armada one). It was pretty nice. I wish IDW would do something similar.
