Hate crowds when you go to see a movie? Well if your answer is yes and you live in an area that has one of the top ten movie theaters in the United States then you may not have to worry about crowds when the Transformers Movie is released. According to Mania.com the top ten movie theaters in the United States will show the Transformers Movie 24 hours a day for the first two dates the film is released.

That's a really cool idea as a publicity stunt. I don't think it's ever been done before.

Don't know how much money they'll make off the early morning shows though.

Good to know, I wonder how many times I can sneak into to see it after my first running is over?

See, now it's a game!

I have a feeling the theater I work at in LA might be on the list. We were the first to get Sector Seven and we're number one in the country for a lot of movies...

Okay, now this is excessive.

It's great to hype it and whatnot, but running it around the clock, all the ads, etc...people are going to get sick of it before the film even has a chance.

I know they're worried it won't be a blockbuster (deep down, yes, they are, but they have to make it look good on paper) so they're going to do what they can to recoup their losses, but this is too much.

I admit, yes...I'd go in the middle of the night (to avoid the crowds? Hells yeah.) but too much of a good thing...

Its about being innovative and doing new things to draw crowds. They will make their money back.

I'm hoping for the Zeigfeild myself.....Saw ID4 there and would be the perfect place for this one. It would be like seeing the Transformers in actual size on that screen!

I can't tell. This is spam, right? Don't do it, it just wastes yours as well as our time. Saw the same thing posted on an entirely different thread. On the note of the top 10 theaters, I think we have one over here in LA, but I could be mistaken. :-?
