How come I didn't see "Barricade" in the last part of the movie where everyone was just fighting...? After the scene on the highway.... he just disappeared...

Anyone care to share?

Another thing... I am going to see the movie again, maybe 6 more times but... why did they have to go to the city?

I assume he, along with Scorponok, Starscream, and that awesome Mountain Dew Decepticon got away. Maybe the next movie can open up with the Autobots tracking down the stray Decepticons still on Earth.

He drove around to flank and ended up late to the party. Maybe he got stuck in traffic or ran out of gas. Its just another loop hole.

I assumed that Optimus killed, or at least immobilised him, that's why OP was late for the battle in the city.

It is most likely he fought Optimus and lost, but the scene was cut. In the script, he and Bonecrusher both take him on at the same time. He really got screwed over, I mean they didn't even show him being beaten by Bumblebee! What a gip!

I like to think that he saw what was going on and laid low and retreated..

Hello everyone, just registered. Anyway, as far as Barricade goes, I do believe that I did see what looked like his door when they were dumping the Decepticons in the trench. Maybe he perished with the others or it could be a plot hole.

I think Bay (or the writers) simply forgot about him, with all that "action" going on...

Barricade was simply forgotten... I watched the movie again, for the second time yesterday, watching for Barricade, and... simply forgotten after the Bonecrusher scene...

Hollywood...the good guys have to win. I just know that I was very satisfied with the whole experience, and can't wait until the next time I see this (very soon).

someone said Baracade was taken out by ratchet with a buzzsaw....

I noticed that Starscream did'nt take out all the jets..He actually let a few go and fire on Megatron ,I think.

Barricade probably figured he wasn't neeeded, what with eeryone else already there.

Either that, or he was smart enough to realize that if he hung back and didn't die, he'd get a bigger role in the sequel.

I thought it was wierd that he was shown again when all of the Decepticons were checking in because it seemed like he was near death after fighting Bumblebee.

It's strange how the Bio for the G1 colored Starscream figure says he's the sole survivor of the Decepticons on Earth but Scorponok and Barricade are both still alive.

we dont know if barricade is still alive or not. maybe he just didnt get in the fighting and was trying to find sam..but he got lost instead.

i dont see scorponok being a major character in the sequel if they include him. if they do, he will probably get killed early on just like he almost did in this one.

I thought Barricade died from the fight with BB... I didnt notice that they showed him when they called all Cons. I think it might be error (editing).

but he was there in the highway scene as well driving with bonecrusher. sam also said something like.."oh no, its the same cop" or something like that..i doubt that was an error because that is 2 things towards him.

But on the highway Sam says "thats the same cop from before!" and Bonecrusher butted in front of him. He may have backed off because he thought Crusher had it. I thought they couldn't recognize Autobots from normal human vehicles so he didn't even know Prme and crew were there as backup. He probably **** a brick and ran when Prime transformed.

Barricade probably got lost.

The plan was to get the Allspark far away before the Decepticons reach Hoover Dam. The Autobots were on their way to Los Angeles by the time Megatron awoke.

I'd say after his beating from bumblebee, he wasn't battle ready anymore, still damaged.

AND don't forget that he was a police car, with all of his commrades being tanks, F-22 raptors, war helicopters, and alien jets. he would have been useless.

Oh and don't forget his function was for stalking and getting info, not serious battle

So as far as Decepticon survivors we have:

Starscream - flew off at the end
Barricade - unknown
Frenzy - cut by his own weapon, last on screen words
"Oh Sh*t"
Scorponok - who lost only his tail

Is that correct? I saw the movie twice and that is what I recall.
