Quick question, I probably only need one answer and this thread can locked down.

For those that have seen the U.S. release was the error in the subtitles fixed or is it still wrong?

Still wrong. I am unsure if it was intentional or not, I know that was his original name in the script, but it should have been the toys name/

Its just odd the at the australian screening that burn went to, bay said he knew about it and you think they would have fixed it. Oh Well.

I think at that point it was too late to fix since they'd probably had to make all of the film prints.

Yeah, I couldn't believe they let the mistake into the final prints of the film. They changed his name to "Brawl" quite a while ago, you'd think someone would have notice this and brought it to Bay's attention a little sooner.

I wonder if it will be corrected on the DVD?

ye, i was really mad about that. i was shaking my head while watching it when i saw that.

does this mean that they cant have the actual Devastator in the sequel?

If I were in charge, I'd think that'd be a minor mistake and it wouldn't stop me from using the name Devastator in a sequel.

true, that would be the same with me. its just i can only see actual fans letting that pass as they would know about the mistake.
