The wife and I went to Barnes and Nobles the other day and I picked up the Lee's Toy Review and was browsing. I noticed that on the page that had all the movie information on it, they had stated that none other than Frank Welker is going to be voicing Megatron. That is what the magazine said and I'm not making it up. Now, I haven't seen anything on this in the forums or the news page. If there is already something on it, please forgive me.

So is Lee's Toy Review a reputable source or do they just write stuff based on what other places have said?

ZOMG!!11!!!

oh wait, IMDB's been saying the same thing for months. Surely there'd be an "official" announcement by now ...

It's possible they're misinformed, but I'd take their news with a lesser grain of salt, than that of Toyfare's. They don't even try, they just use a Twister spinner, and whatever it lands on, they just print. Factual or not. poopy or not. lol

Lee's is the better and more reputable of the two.

If I remember right, Frank isn't signed.

Don't trust unofficial sources. Ev4r.

Yeah, pretty much everything we see in print that isn't from Hasbro itself is wrong.

I agree about Lee's being more reputable and Factual than Toyfare. I have been reading Lee's, pretty consistently until late, for over 10 years. I would like to think they wouldn't print it if it wasn't true, but who knows for sure.

personally i think that they are just writing what they read on imdb.

also, why would they cast someone as megatron? he doesnt have any speaking lines in the film, he only speaks in alien, speaking fleshbag language is beneath him

Well yeah, but they still need someone to speak the alien language. Besides, he does have AT LEAST one line in English, going by the old script...

That's great. But was there any need to resurrect such an old thread? :?

And...that is?

No offense, but everyone's seen the film by now, and we all know it's Hugo Weaving as the voice of Megatron. We've known this for months now.

So, there really is no need to revive a thread that was already past the rigor mortis stage.

Yeah, Welker really wasn't signed for the film. Hugo Weaving was. Although Welker did do Megatron in the game. On top of that, reviving this thread is STUPID

uhhh.... NO.

Here's a list of what's wrong with resurrecting an out of date thread:

1. At first I thought it was about the sequel.
2. Everyone who hasn't seen the movie won't read it.
3. Everyone who has seen the movie already knows.

This thread isn't just past rigor mortis, its bowels have let go.
