July 2 release date ...

Yeah, I know you all just got your hopes up.
I saw the Australian edition of Empire on stands today and they had a couple of pages about Transformers so I had a quick squiz and saw that they had it listed as opening on July 2.
Now i'm currently in the process of getting new glasses so when I got back to work I thought I probably read it wrong.
But then I checked out release dates for Australia and low and behold ... July 2.
I have no idea if it's actually been reported in the past, i'd heard before that it was July 2 but dismissed it without evidence and the fact July 2 is a Monday and movies normally open on Thursdays here.
But for now it seems Transformers opens in Australia days before the US.
And no, i'm not going to take a video camera in and record it for you negative prats who feel pirating is better than paying to see it.
