I have recently seen the new Transformers movie and it blew me away! But it kept me guessing "what happens now?" Megatron could not have been permantly killed yet if they want to have sequels, especially by the hands of a human. The allegedly deceased Decepticons were sunk into the Laurentian Abyss, but would it be enough to crush the extra-dense alloy of a Transformer? Starscream escaped, Scorponok was never seen again, and Barricade apparently disappeared as well. And, of course, what other characters will appear in the sequels? Unicron? What's your guess?

not unicron for sure. and having him would suck cuz then it would end up like the old movie. he'll eventually show up if the movies are good enough and it keeps going.

starscream will return and take leadership of the decepticons and have more guys with him. not sure who really, but he def. will be back.

I think they left it so opened ended that anything could happen.

I would really like to see megatron come back, and since the autobots didn't know exactly what would happen when you "merge" with the allspark/ i think it could set up megatron coming back as some more powerful villan (possibly Galvatron?)

It would also be great because then Sam would have to deal with the fact that he didn't listen to optimus and ended up making things worse, when infact at the time it made it look like he saved the day. He created this new "threat"

The Rumors about the constructacons and the dinobots would be an awesome addition to the movie in some way. And the talk about the Air Craft carrier that transforms, now that would be nuts (I'd invision that scene with the air craft carrier next to some bridge, (pick one) and the autobots and decepticons are fighting on this bridge and that thing pulls up and transforms, and then the autobots are fighting the thing from the bridge.. etc.. that would be insane)

Theres so much that can happen.. hopefully the do a second one, cuz i'm ready for more...

Starscream will definitely have a part as the Decepticon leader but knowing how long his regimes last he's bound to be vaporized by Megatron/Galvatron very soon. And who knows what will befall our favorite planet devourer but I thought it would be cool to see a planet roughly the size of Saturn transform into a galactically massive robot with the CG we have these days.

What I'd like to see is StarScream take over as leader of the Decepticons, whilst Soundwave comes down from above to resurrect his old master. Soundwave brings the Constructicons with him.

The autobots find out that there's some stuff going on with the decepticons and devise a plan to make sure Megatron doesn't get resurrected. They don't need to call for backup since Optimus already sent the message out to the universe of his location to all the autobots.

Or something similar.

The only cons I'd really like to see would be Soundwave, the Constructicons, maybe Shockwave. On the 'bots side, I'd like to see Jetfire, Mirage and maybe Metroplex (never happen).

That's good, really good. But the constructicons are a impossibility. Bonecrusher was a constructicon and he was decapitated. Devastator was also a Decepticon of his own without all the constucticons to create him. Perhaps the stunticons or combaticons will have a better shot for that roll.

YES!!! That was the exact phrase going through my mind when they "killed off" Megatron! Ha-ha, awesome!!!

u know sumthing they left things so open for anything its really cool starscream will play a bigger part in the next movie hopefully but the only thing what would be the new threat they put so much on the allspark gimmic i dont know the only thing i could really thing of is the return of megatron... and him turnin into galavtron because of the allspark. but what would be the new treat besides is a good question because if they use a unicron gimmic it would have to be sumthing like what they did in the FF new movie and ya dont even want to go there.. how about an all out invasion of decpticreeps the return of megs the autobots and humans on the brink and then ultra magnus comes screaming down with hotshot and the dinobots that would be cool
but who knows all i got to say is it has to happen soon because the first was great and i hope the second one will be great

most of my predictions have been said by others in this thread. mainly starscream taking over and megatron merging with the allspark and returning powered up. I do predict a major megatron/starscream conflict brewing next movie as starscream would have reasons to beleive he is entitled to lead after all.

Sam's parents are going to become headmasters and go beat the crap out of Bernie Mac.

Well the first thing that comes to mind is that Starscream returns to Earth with at least 4 other Decepticons (Soundwave, Skywarp, Thundercracker and possibly Shockwave) after learning that the shard of All Spark that Prime has could be used to recreate the power of the All Spark. Starscream, of course, wants this power for himself since after all he is now the new leader of the Decepticons. Thundercracker and Skywarp both are pretty loyal to Starscream, Soundwave and Shockwave act like they like their new leadership but they have really come to Earth with Starscream in order to find and reactivate Megatron.

When they do locate Megatron they find that his right arm is gone (as I believe it was in the movie?) so they make him a new one and attach Brawl's cannon to it (or a new cannon) and Megatron is reborn badder and more classic than ever.

Meanwhile, the seekers with the support of Barricade obtain the shard of the all spark and activate the constructicons just as Megatron takes command once more.

The Autobots discover that Megatron is back with the help of the constructicons the autobots ask for a little help of their own. The Dinobots. Meanwhile throughout the film there was one transformer whom has been watching everything on both sides, we don't know his identity until the end, but it turns out to be Mirage, who helps to save the day in the end.

Prowl or Silverstreak
Sunstreaker and Sideswipe
Maybe Wheeljack

Perhaps the Insecticons but they'd be better for 3.

The only ones left were (in order of disapearance) scorponok, barricade and then starscream. Where did barricade disapear to? One of the writers/producers said already he had a cool way of incorporating the dinobots and the constructicons. They already officially confirmed soundwave as the main villain already too. they even posted up what he was supposed to look like.

i believe the soundwave(shockwave too) youre talking about were fan concept drawings. also barricade is dead, they just didn't show it. the leaked script and movie novelization say that he is taken out by prime on the highway along with bonecrusher and you can see his door on the ship when they drop megatron in the ocean.

also, i just beat the decepticon campaign in the xbox 360 game, and megatron PURPOSELY pushes the allspark into his chest, lives and destroys the earth... so who knows how this'll pan out...and i'd love to see the other seekers but i can imagine them being used as anything other than cannon fodder in the movie, so maybe we're better off. please dear god somehow bring me devestator in the sequel (how that devestator/brawl mix-up occured baffles me, when he's called brawl EVERYWHERE else)

Megatron can't be dead...

possibly have starscream as the decepticon leader. but then again in the video game there is shockwave which i think would be pretty cool. or with all the parts of the deceased decepticons maybe starscream would come back and use all the parts to resurrect megatron as galvatron.

oh and i heard somewhere that unicron is gonna be in the next movie and the nod was given to james earl jones for the part.

interesting. someone had mentioned that barricade's door was on the ship when they were ocean-dumping decepticons. if that's the case, it stinks that we didn't see barricade's end. i was wondering why he led the calvary and then disappeared. i'd hoped he would be around for part 2. though i guess in the comic he was destroyed? weird.

Whatever happens, we need to have a gestault and/or some of the "groups" from G1 (seekers, constructicons, "cassettes(obviously something different this time)")

So, Unicron is going to be in the sequel? I like how your giving me this info but no links for us to see for ourselves. If you could it would be greatly appreciated!
