This has nothing to do with the fact that the actress is attractive. But did anyone else like the character Mikaela better then Sam?

Sam just comes off as kind of useless. When the fit is hitting the shan he is just kind of trying to stay out of the way. Mikaela refused to leave the combat zone without Bumblebee, and then got him back into the fight.

I actually like that this kind of proved that attractive women don't have to be useless eyecandy.

Nah, she was just eye candy. Her "desperately sad" scene just before she brings Bumblebee back into the fray was pretty horrific. Of course, this could be because of the serious lack of character development throughout the whole film, but it was still bad.

Shia was funny and convincing, Megan Fox? Real hot in that jean skirt.

nah, she was one of the few things that I didn't like about the movie. She looked too much like a pr0n star to fit in with the other human characters. I didn't care for Sam but he was at least tolerable compared to her.

Agreed. Pardon me for the coarse language, but they made her to 'slutted'-up.

Too well-oiled, but skimpy (those I don't mind! ).

Shia was terrific. He plays the part so well. The humor is excellent.

QFT. Anyone coulda played her, and maybe with a better affect. Megan Fox was eye candy, pure and simple. But...being the fan she claims to be gives her some coolness points.

beh, my problem with her was every scene it looked like she could really care less. like: "god, i have to act today?" and in the one's she did try, it looked even worse (bb towtruck scene?)
i think anyone could have played her better, luckily, shia was very likable and fun as sam, could have completely done with out her though. she definetly helped dumb up the movie

She IS sexy! She IS an eye candy. BUT, i payed to see a movie about robot trashing eachother, so i dint really minded.

Personally, I like Mikaela more than Sam. To take out on a date, anyway...

The guys definitely liked her better than Sam, for obvious reasons.

As a character? No. Sam sold it for me. She was more like background padding for him, which is sad...she was underused.

She needed a shower Damn!

I thought Shia stoled the movie, which I wasn't expecting... I look forward to him being in Indiana Jones 4 now.
