Will edit more here later.

Till then, keep up the good fight Autobots, remember to always play fair and try not to track your enemies ashes onto these freshly waxed floors

Commander Hallows,

I've sent a distress call to all Autobot forces I've seen in the field. Once we hear back about who is able to support the effort, we can post missions and coordinate a plan of attack here!

Thank you for all of your guidance thus far to myself and all the younger commanders! Without you, we wouldn't have made it as far as we have. ;)^

Jack, would you mind helping the Autobots form a strategy? Looking through the forum it seems that many Autobots are falling into Deception bait traps and losing badly. We need a plan, please.

For whose who don't know, Jack is a war hero in real life. If there is anyone we should trust to help us pull through- it's him.

Jack before you kill me can you at least help us? :saint:

Leviathan of Job has joined Lvl. 2-4 mission.

and need 1 more in Lvl. 1 mission

Edit:
Awesome, looks like we have a chance at a sea serpent and helicopter.

Yes those were good matches thank you for posting them :) If we get more people to coordinate missions here like the cons do out there we might stand a fighting chance :BOT:
Jack gave me some good advice that has been working so far and I will try to explain it here. Basically you send out your team on missions that suit them and don't just choose the first match that pops up. Avoid the hell missions unless there is a big gun in there already and definitely don't send your event bots in there to give the cons easy victory points! If you are going to be around anyway it is better to save your troop until a better mission shows up. There's more but I'm sure Jack will talk about that when he responds ~ :WRECKERS:

too late for the other missions. here’s a new one. got 20 minutes to boot.

ashe5k, i took a look at your build for QuBits and if i may suggest some rearranging of stats, i feel it may benefit our cause.

this is QuBits currently:
Image

this is QuBits after a retooling, using the same amount of exp available, and assuming you still wish courage to be the main stat.
Image

i feel like this build will help your bot achieve better survivability against the odds we’re up against. please note that i just set the tactics to that as a personal default choice of mine. you may favor one tactic over the other and choose to allocate more points to that specific one, so my suggestions are just a general guideline.

if anyone has any questions concerning bot builds, post em and we’ll get them sorted out.

maximum efficiency is key, even if that means dropping levels to have a more solid build.

also, finally caught up to the cons on the mission meter. keep up the good work to those who are actually trying.

I'll be the first to admit I've basically been following my RP stats listed for the character in their bio and just plugging in the cheapest exp value and leveling, but with actual people playing on the cons now instead of empty missions I may have to retool my whole squad before the next part of the tournament.

EDIT: Also for the first time since like forever, the space shuttle alt isn't on rotation

i hear that. can’t deny that fantasy builds do add a certain character presence to a team.

and i doubt you’ll need my help reformatting, but if you want to go over different builds we can do that.

& yooo, i’m not sure what HMW you been playing but the cons’ve been here for a hot minute lol. or maybe they’ve just been gunning for my team :-?

also, yeah i noticed the non rotated space shuttle... of course it had to be like that today. of course it did.

now if the other Autobots would bring their afts in here, maybe we can actually start being effective on the battlefield instead of huffing mufflers with the enemy while helping them win by playing by their rules and giving them free event kills.

their call though.

Is it? Do they know it's worth coming into this forum? I regularly receive pm's from Decepticon players looking for Darkmount access word seems to get out there well enough.

Maybe you should actually engage in HMWGD and encourage people to either join in here, or seek access so they can join.

That guy? No. :P I'll look over the alt list and see if there's a repair alt I like to use on him

Anyway, here's QuBits current loadout

STR: 1
INT: 2
SPD: 3
END: 2
RNK: 0
CRG: 7
FRP: 4
SKL: 1
Space Shuttle
TACTICS
Repair: 6
Strafe: 5

I am open to suggestions and I think I could make him an Aerial Rescue Vehicle instead. I honestly think I left him as a Space Shuttle for variety.

yes, it is their choice, as i can’t make it for them.

i have and do encourage new players to join here.

other Autobots (some among the ones i invited to join Iacon) actually have access to this forum now and yet aren’t here.

the tourney thread also says ask for access to the faction forums.

so... it’s their choice. like i said.

but that statement was directed more toward bots who already know what this forum is for, yet aren’t here coordinating missions with their true allies; and not toward recruits fresh off the assembly line who don’t even know what goes on here.

That ^^^ is the direct difference. there are enough Autobots who regularly post on the general forum to invite new players to Iacon as well, so that responsibility does not and should not fall solely on my shoulders. an Autobot is an Autobot and should always do what is needed to advance the AUTOBOT CAUSE.

also, not to mention the fact that the Con players have a connected network and many know one another from different mediums, which has been stated on the forum enough times to not warrant a mention from you here.

i’m here to help Autobots. simply put. and any Autobot who i have assisted knows this.

if the discussion isn’t how to actually defeat a Decepticon, especially during an active, sanctioned campaign, i don’t have the time for it; especially when i’m one of the only Autobots actually doing something to help our faction try to put a decent score up and not serving my event bots up as free points for the enemy in senseless deployments.

i don’t have time for all the forum shenanigans with Cons until this current event phase has ended, so you should respect that.

but at your request, i will make another post for Autobot recruits... and then you watch as the message of me reaching out to them is drowned out by slaggish comments from your faction-mates, which will do more harm than good, because as i stated, i don’t have the time to address and correct all of their incorrect assumptions regarding my motivations lol.

come on Burn, you know what I’m talkin about bro.

Lol! that last part. i feel you though.

ok, here are a few suggestions:
avoid aerial rescue vehicles unless you want the target on you. as you know, they are event alts and this will leave you with a hard target on your back.
if you need a good repair alt that’s not a target, try:
Gadget or Helpful Insect - 1000 repair each. solo tactic.

Heavy Rescue Vehicle - 1000 ram / 4000 repair (cheaper ram than Construction Vehicle, expensive Repair, but worth it)

Helpful Land Animal - 4000 ram / 1000 repair.

Helpful Air Animal - 1000 avoid / 3000 repair

Opportunistic Insect - 4000 repair / 1000 strafe

Noble Air Animal - 3000 avoid / 1200 repair

Noble Land Animal - 1200 repair

and obviously the Space Shuttle, which you know all about.

there are others, but they are either event targets or have INT and SK requirements so i didn’t post them.

feel free to look though:
Autobot alts
Alt Tactics

depending on what you choose, we can work on an effective build for your healer.

could you link your team please? I know about Caretaker (my personal favorite. just love the bot.), the green griffon the blue spider and QuBits, but i’d like to see the other bots you command so we can round it out wit a great selection for ol Q..

edit:
got your team link. sorry, how could i not remember the rest of your team.. they’re what keep me alive most days  i know i just suggested you avoid it, but i don’t see any sea creatures lol. i also think an opportune insect/scout would be a good fit.

nice 7-10 mission right here with chance for event kills.

edit: on second thought, avoid that mission. waste of your resources for a loss. but while those guys are occupied with HJ, you lot may be able to steal some missions. hut hut hut.

this match could use some added support though. got 10 or so minutes to get yer afts in gear.

yes but that bot is just spectacular.

at the ground mission level, 1-3, there is an influx of Cons who are just itching to tear copters rotorless lol. my hope is that ashe would reformat QuBits into an alt/build that he can see the effects of without 6 Cons jumping on him instantly. if he does choose an aerial rescue vic, i know you’re probably the best available to coach on heal builds.
