Here is a thread that may be some fun for us to get into. To me it is reimencent of what OS wanted to do in 2.0 but is being played out in role play and the missions that we do have. So, should we throw our hats into this mess?

Kaon vs Altigon (AWC)

Go for it, dude. I was kicking around something to add in, but likely won't finish until tomorrow.

I'm probably going to throw in a post or two into the thread to show that the Maximals are still alive and a few of us do pay attention to GD but I want to know what you all think of the sides we should choose. I doubt we would go Con\Pred but should we try to stay neutral and protect our own boundry or actually help the Bots. I asked Sustain on which missions to post and any are open as long as we get a KO out of it. Personally I would go for neutral which would lead into some interesting story plots.

BTW, Sustain made our choice a whole lot easier by posting a mission and wiping the floor with us. Mechanica was one of the casualties. Since my team was apart of AWC before the Maximals were created, I'll go and offer my team's assistance to EP but everyone else is free to choose their own path. The main reason for this little thread is that there is a split group within the Bots who weren't happy with the AWC\EP and the RDD is trying to help them out by unifying them.

I don't know. I kinda thought about staying neutral and just watching the story and events unfold. After all, this is beef between the Decepticons and Autobots.

But, should someone take out one of my guys and "claim their head" in there, then i will perhaps feel the need to step in and defend my honor.

So far we have Rat Convoy in there as well as me. I may try to arrange something with EP but not sure exactly what. I did make it clear to him that the Maximals are an independent group and that he can't tell us what to do too much.

I'm planning on jumping in to join the fray sometime. Just let me get my guys in order.

I'm gonna be staying out of it not because I dont want to, but because that I'm at school for 6 or 7 hours each day during the week and I'm only on once or twice during that time because I can go on during 1st and Break because my Ceramics teacher doesnt mind... Though if they do anything to anger the Maxies or something like that, then you can probably count me in.

I've decided to jump in. I figured it could be a bit of fun, plus give me something else to with my mission logs other than just seeing who i slagged.

For right now, i've only selected a handful to join in. The rest of my team i'm planning on leaving at Cybertropolis with the rest of the Maximals.

Do we have a commander or someone specific we report to?

Technically the Maximals don't have any real heirarchy so we been reporting to our respective commanders within our squads. Now, since we are working with the AWC, I and I think Rat Convoy has been reporting to Evolution Prime. The Maximals, as a whole, are more independent of each other as of right now. At one time when the Maximal faction started, there was a "subfaction" but that died when the three leaders left the game for one reason or another. The subfaction idea didn't sit well with a good chunk of the current Maximals and a good reason was that our numbers were way too small.

I asked EP ingame about who the Maximals should report to. Right now it looks like Rat Convoy will take the East Gate while Primedon (me) will have the South wall. However, I'll be offline for the evening so I'll let the Rat take control of the whole six commanders right now until I return tomorrow.

The battle will have a phase two but not quite sure how indepth it will be quite yet. I do appreciate all of those who did decide to join us in the first part of it. I'm seeing what roles the Maximals can have in this part of it. Sustain is one of the ones getting it back together so if you want a part, I doubt she would mind being politely asked about any Maximal wanting a part in it.

Hey I'm all for it. It'll be fun getting out there and showing them what we can do.

I know I would appreciate all the help, Restless. It seems things are having a slight trouble getting started again but that may be due to everyone not quite on the same page. Hopefully things will get going.

Yeah, what happened with that? It sounded like things were gearing up and then it pretty much went dead.

To be honest, I'm not really sure why it quit. I do know there wasn't much of a story line with the first one but this second phase does have some what of a story line. Basically it was to see if EP could get the Bots to rally behind him. I do know the Maximals will have some sort of involvement but what exactly I do not know.

So we're waiting on Sustain and the others to start round two? In the thread it felt like things were settling down with the small hints of the Decepticons having another go at the city, but at the moment it kinda feels like everyone's just standing around wondering "So what happens now?"

Though having our own little mission would be cool, instead of just backing the Autobots up.

I'll see what I can do on getting Maximals their own little mission (s). If anything, I need to poke her to see what is taking this one so long to get going. I do know there is one Bot who needs to post who has yet. Now, the Maximals are independent of the Bot command structure so technically we probably could do our own thing but I will clear it with Sustain before we do just in case there is something specific.

Ok, here are the current updates on this little story thread. As mention before, things are starting a little slower but the final kinks are getting worked out. The current "mission" for the Maximals is to head back towards the main command center. There will be two sets of alarms as the Cons start their second phase of the attack. We are to hold still until after the second alarm. This is by far more organized than it was last time but the Maximals will be involved but not quite immediately. Our part will be later on in the story but uncertain how exactly except for one particular Maximal commander and his team. If you read the thread close enough, you may have figured that one out.

For my own curousity, who are the "leaders" of each group? Mine is Primedon. This will help coordinate ingame when needed.

I consider Vector Maximus to be the field commander of my team. The team reports to Rat Convoy as their high commander. Rattrap is second-in-command of field operations, under Vector Maximus.

Griffin is the commander of my team. The rest of the team will report to her or my second-in-command Fireshadow.

I see my team divided into two squads lead by Raphael Prime and Vaynelock. But overall, Raphael, Vaynelock and Caniac are my main three bots and make all decisions together. But mostly just Raphael and Vaynelock are co-commanders of my team, and reports go to them.

Sustain has posted the next battle. This will be mostly Bots\Cons but if you want to post that your mechs are getting repairs and even helping out if you have any "medics", I doubt that would be much issue. All she wants, as noted earlier, is for us to be at our best. I would like us all to be organized and ready as much as we can inside the thread\story and outside of it.
