I'm thinking about running a small tournament next week. Galvatron Supreme bean burrito will be running one as well and this one will be similar if not the same rules as his.

GS is fronting the money for the cons but I dont have that amount of Energon to just hand out. So if Donations could be made from the bigger Bots it would help out a lot.

The tournament will operate as follows:


You will submit your team's link in this thread if you are interested in participating
You will then be matched up against a fellow participant, chosen based on both Team's XP/Levels to try and keep it balanced and fair
Each bracket will last 3 days and include all missions. A Start/End Mission will be posted for each bracket.
Scoring will be as follows, you must survive the mission to claim points:
Sole Survivor AND Top of Mission: 5 Points

Top of Mission: 2 Points

Kills: 1 Point per kill

Winner of each bracket will be determined by highest number of points,
obviously.


If, after eliminations take place, and the remaining teams in subsequent brackets are significantly different in XP/Levels, some waiting of points may be initiated. For example, if you are a mostly level 2 team and your opponent is mostly level 0, you would score 1 point per "Top of Mission", while the lower level team would still score 2 points.


The prizes for the tournament will be: 100,000 energon and a Custom Forum Sig ( GS will make the Cons not sure if a Bot one will exist yet)

Ah, if only my registration wasn't goofed my team currently Predacon. That, however, is a great plan.

So, clarification for all though, Energon or XP? The former is worth it while the later will have some figuring out how to crash others hard-drives just to win their bracket. And how you got approval to hand out XP would be most interesting to know.

OK just a few things before it's settled.

We look to have around 8 to 9 guys. Start time is mission #229700 which is around 1pm EST tomorrow. That seems to be the middle ground for where everyone is located. We will run through 2501 missions with the last mission being #232200.

So I would like to get you advice on this... Do we only count ever mission that ends in 0 and 5 or count all missions in the 2501 from start to finish?

So you (the tourney administrators) are going to go through the whole list of missions (incrementing by 5) looking for participating players and tally results for us?

We don't have to submit links with counts?

You will have to post your own points and give the link to the mission report. The vets here will post the correct way and just follow along.
