Cooperation

We should start working together in our builds to support each other even if we aren't all on at the same time. I know there are players that don't post in here but a lot who read it. So here's what I propose. Enough of us get together and see what builds work well together. Hopefully if enough of us work together on this others will see it and work together with us even if they don't post. Here is my idea to see if it works:
All of us build ramming healers. My idea behind this is that a mission full of that build could potentially keep the enemy stunned while we heal ourselves. It wouldn't be too bad as avoid and armor don't protect against tactics. It would just require strength, courage and the more intelligence and endurance we each have makes the heals that much better.
I know I haven't been playing the v1 version a lot, but I'm willing to help during the remaining v1 time we have and maybe if we get something that works well and we work together we can take the end tourney.

ok can see where you going with this would avoiding healers work just as well?
i think we should all select just one alt mode that everyone uses and reset all your team to that, with the same basic set up. ( depending on available xp )
i suggest a base set-up of 2str 2ram 2repair and increase to 3 of each stat from there, maybe getting some speed as well with any left over xp.

I've been gone for a while, due to real life crud and things like that. Therapy, medication, losing mild interest in the net/computer, the works. nyeeeh...

Well, I don't like rammer/heal builds until my bots are alot higher... i may stick with avoiders until then.

I'm not saying my way is the way to go, but that we should try different builds. I don't care where we start just as long as we all agree what to play with. I know that with repair we are giving each other extra xp by keeping each other alive longer along with the extra xp from the repair itself. Actually avoid may work pretty good also either way we keep from getting hit. I'm looking at not just gaining xp but winning missions also.

It all depends on levels really. Level 1s should be avoiders, level 2 is where you would have pure rammers or strafers and level 3 would be the time to go dual tactic, preferably avoider/strafer. I never found repair to work properly below level 5, but then again I never put much effort into playing around with it. Too many feeder stats to consider when at the lower levels in my opinion, but there are commanders who can make it work.

I'd have to agree that right now Repairers won't be much good.
I've got one avoiding rammer on my team. the rest are pretty much the 'hit 'em fast, hit 'em hard' types, with high avoids, high speed/strength and about 3 on strength/speed

been real busy as well (Just started residency), so I haven't been in missions as much (or online for that matter)
Plus, I only JUST got access to the forums... Anyway, I'll try and be more active when I can

Just let me know what we need for the cause.
