Mission questions, feedback please!

Hello Maximals, please pardon the intrusion.
As you know, we probably dont have very long left of HMW V1.x before HMW2 is due to begin, and so soon(ish) we will be building up to the big end game which we want you guys to enjoy as much as the other factions.
As you know, the input the staff directly have into this game itself is limited but im asking you here, away from other faction intrusion:
What would be the best way for us to make the missions more appealing to you?
Im open to all ideas but oviously there is limits to what we can and cant get OS to do as he is neck deep in V2 code.

I think quite a few of us have had several ideas. Such as Tag Team missions again, maybe some 4-on-4. And a higher probability for generating Predacon missions.
Missions against Predacons i think, at least for me, are on top of the list. Because i seem to generate way too many Decepticon missions, it's about at a 5-1 ratio, with Autobots sprinkled in here and there.

ditto, to many con missions being generated.
could i put my 2 pence in and ask if possible change the 1 member per team per mission rule to 2 members a team just for the maximals, just for the last few weeks/months then im sure we could easily get fuller missions.
i know all about the "cheating" by putting in 2 high repairers etc etc but atm don't think it matters as lots of people are just playing for fun.

Lower level bands (eg. 0-1, 1-2)
Lower mission sizes (3 v 3, tag-team, 4 v 4).
Suffice to say I'm a little sick of being outnumbered by 6 level 2s in a mission.

Unfortunately, that something we
cant do for this version of the game due to the way its programmed, but it has been mentioned as a feature of V2 as Gestalts cant be included without it. Also, unless I've totally misunderstood what OS has said, there will also be 'drones' that should help to remove the outnumbering disadvantage to some degree.
How they are implemented though, i wouldn't like to say.
Also, mixed faction missions (i.e. Max & Cons v Preds & Bots) are
definitely in HMW2
The rest of it is good stuff though, keep the ideas coming.
I want a good cross section of what you think across as much of the faction as possible, before I have the deal with the spam ill get when I ask the Preds.

See above Moggy, its something we cant add for this version of HMW due to its archaic programming, but its something that
is guaranteed to be in HMW2.
If we were to try and create 0-1, 1-3 & 2-4, all vs Pred, 4v4 missions, do you guys think you would be able to to fill them?

yes

then a 4 con to 1 maximal mission would not be as bad as a 6 to 1 mission and i would be more willing to join these missions with the better odds when other maximals join.

I would be all over them. I'm fairly sure some others would too.
I have a question though, what are the chances of having say a mission option where level 2's are the highest? either level 2 only, 0-2, or 1-2?

The thing with level 2 is the low number of upgrades required between 1&3 means the only real difference between that and L3 is the xp modifier for landing a hit, which is increased by slapping a higher level anyway.
If its doesnt work ill try and add a 1-2 in.

Narrower level limits for missions would be the biggest improvement, IMO. Allowing levels 0-3 is just too broad for lower level bots, even if you can fill a mission up you run the risk of high level bots joining late and stomping you. I think we'd have much fewer problems filling up 6v6 missions if they were more winnable: 0-1, 1-2, 2-3 etc.

The suggestion I've made to OS is:
0-1
1-3
2-4
4v4 against the Cons &Bots, and 6v6 against the Preds. The G1 v BW missions frequency will be turned down to the lowest priority so they should spawn only when you guys activate them.
How does that sound guys?

that sounds real good, especially the 4Vs4 against the cons and bots.
any timeframe as to when this will be up and running ??

Depends on OS's availability, but its been marked as a priority and now he's sorted his house move etc. out he should be back again from today.

That sounds pretty good to me. Just a quick clarification though, so there may actually be G1 v BW missions in V1.x? What happened to that code freeze that was keeping him from doing any sort of work on V1?

Ahh.. sorry, slip of the toungue, erm fingertips.
By G1 v BW I mean any Con or Bot v Max or Pred. We'll have to wait for HMW2 for Max & Pred v Bot & Con im afraid.
Its no bother guys. Strictly between us though - with my wife being a Vet andliving on a farm, I very nearly joined you guys and have been watching you closely for a while now. Considering you have the smallest representation in the missions of any faction and you're always up agianst us cons, you guys are incredibly brave.
Im just sorry its taken so long for us to be able to sort this out for you.
