I have 3 strafers with 3 FP and 4 strafe now so I was looking to upgrade their weapons.

I only have enough energon to upgrade one to a 3 FPR weapon and was wondering if anyone has any advice on what to get. I'm leaning towards the Brawn Blaster based on the simple fact that alot of people use it so it must not be horrible or people wouldn't continue to buy it. The Dirge Gun has the same appearent stats on the buy weapon page, moderate to very heavy damage with no recharge for a cheaper price.

If anyone's tried some of the 3 FPR guns and has some advice I'd appreciate it before I spend all my energon on a weapon that's not very good.

Only two merit consideration - Electric Cannon and Brawn Blaster.

I personally prefer Brawn Blaster, since I'm not fond of large damage ranges and Electric Cannon is HORRIBLE if you've got three strength or more.

whenit comes to weapons my top two guys are top strafer's, gonna have to reset them soon, as i didn't think strength helped, thort it only helped with skill weapons

Good question and great answers for Fpr 3 but what about Fpr 5? I have been using the Photon Displacer Gun and Electron Gun.

I use a Photon-Displacer gun on my Strafer as well. He does around 23% damage per shot.

It's decent, but I only do around 12%-14% damage when I strafe. Ramming is still more effective at 24% per hit.

I am getting the same results in my strafe as well. I wonder if it gets better with another weapon. I wan to focus my guy on spd, fpr, stf, and avd so str is not much of an option for me.

Thanks for the energon electron. I went with the Brawn Blaster and in the first mission using it pulled off a 13%, 21%, 16% hits, 37% strafe on a bot with 1 str, 4 spd, 3 fpr, 4 strafe. Just bumped him up to 5 strafe now and will track his results. Going to try and bump him up to 5 spd and then alternate fpr/strafe/courage for the next few upgrades.
