Hey guys, I've been running the same 6 bot team since the reset happened and it was working pretty well until the mission setup changed last month. And now I've been considering adding some new members to my team to offset the CR Chamber charges my Level 2's are racking up.

How many new members would you suggest? I will be keeping them Level 0 with a 2 speed/2 avoid setup, Give them Null Rays and then hope for the best.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

Why not just run the full 12?

I would run all 12 as well. Your Level 0s can hep you out with building up energon due to free CR Chamber.

12 man teams are over rated, go for a ten man team

if ur low on energon jus post in the "who needs cash" thread, im sure ur fellow bots would love to help out

anything non-12 is for posers (RevengeOfStarscream / Electron)

it's an economical and tactical decision. Even RoS added a bot after running 6 to break into the top-10.

as you said, you can run a six top-bot team, but you can use more bots to cover CR time because more bots > more income. for the time it takes your top bot to recover 100% in CR a L0 can do two arena bouts. that's enough to cover any cr costs a L2 night have.

I added 6 bots bringing my team up to the full 12. Hopefully this will help cover my CR costs.

I run 9. I don't play enough right now to have more, and I never really found that I could manage having more than that. Playing time spreads out more so unless you're playing for 16 hours in a row and you often find yourself saying "I wish I had more bots since mine are all in the CR," then you could probably use more. If you're not playing all the time, you might start to pick out favorites to play over others so you'll have 3-6 bots who are much higher levels than the rest because you allocate more time to them.

I asy that all the time and I have all 12 spots filled.

I don't see any reason not to have 12.

My top 6 I play significantly more than the others but there's always times the top ones are in the CR that can be utilized by the bottom 6 bots.

My avg exp for the top 6 is 200,000 xp for the next 3 its 80,000 xp and for the bottom 3 its 55,000 since I always try and run my top bots if they're availiable and not in the CR Chamber.

I don't know why you'd stop at 10. I find that even with 12 I still have between 3-5 active at a time outside the CR chamber, even when I'm successful they still need repairs.
