Beware of ebay seller rracer2025

I hope I'm in the right section, if not I'm sorry.

I worked out an arrangement outside of ebay with a guy from the UK named rracer2025 for a transformers item, I paid about £50 and he scammed me.
Yes, I know, it's never a smart thing buying outside of ebay, but the guy seemed to have a good record at about 50 feedback points.
After I've paid I started writing to his paypal address asking for the tracking number. You already know the story, he started making up excuses about why he couldn't give me my tracking at that particular moment, and then disappeared.
Funny thing is he sent me an email stating that his email, paypal and ebay account had been hijacked by some other guy who scammed me - of course the message was in the same font style and had the same grammar errors of the previous ones :)
I've filed a paypal claim but I have zero confidence to have my money back.

So I suggest you to not have anything to do with that guy EVEN inside of ebay.
