Finally they arrived! I picked up the Red Powerglide. Wal-Mart had them on Sunday.

Also the TRU in Mechanicsburg at the Capitol City Mall had the 25th Ann. Perceptor (I took the last one) and 4 Insecticons (I took one) on Sunday afternoon.

Exton TRU has the perceptor and insecticons re-issues, I think 5 or 6 of each. They have a crap ton of Universe Ultras too, if you look up above the isles, makes me think there is going to be a black friday sale.

Can everyone keep an eye out for Walmart MP Skywarp? I really want one!

I will keep my eyes open for you.

Mechanicsburg TRU had a ton of the Perceptor and Insecticons this weekend. Apparently they are finally making their rounds through PA.

I wasn't sure exactly where to post this, so mods, please move if need be.

I noticed that there are quite a few collectors on this site from Pa. I am tired of having all kinds of cool new toys to talk about and no one to discuss them with. That, and I like to know who I am typing to all the time.

So, if you guys would be down for lunch or something, let me know. I think it would be cool to get something together.

Edit: This invitation is open to anyone. I just wrote Pa because I was thinking about locality.

Wilkes-Barre has 5-6 each of the reissues, 4-5 Gathering at the Nemesis, and 10+ Back Road Brawl.

As of 10:32 last night, Wal-Mart in Meadville has three cases (three per case, as well) of Masterpiece Skywarp.

They would not put it out on the shelves, and they wouldn't open any of the cases.

I could not confirm what the price was, or what condition they were in, only that they are in stock.

Looks like you are a long trip down the turnpike for most of us. A bunch of us are in the SE Philly burbs, kind of near where PA, MD and DE all meet up. Exton/KOP/West Chester. I'd be down for a group meet up, but I'd want to be a little more local than a 2 hour trip out to Harrisburg. Of course, I'm a cheap lazy bastard, so take that for what it's worth :P

We should all hit Hershey Park one day :-?

Are you near KECKSBURG PA????

I am near Harrisburg. I do, however, have a brother that goes to Immaculata U. I end up out there once in a while. If there are a bunch of you in that area, I will make a road trip.

Harrisburg does have 3 Targets, 2 TRU's, and 2 Wal-Marts all within 20 minutes of each other...

Sto- I have never heard of Kecksburg Pa. I live near Harrisburg, if that helps.

I don't know if you guys saw this or not. I posted a thread in General Discussion about Pa collectors meeting up sometime if any of you are interested. It seems like some people are down if we can get the logistics.

Funny, I pass Immaculata at least once a week, my wife teaches ballet about 3 miles away in Malvern. If you guys ever get a chance, follow King Street down to The Flying Pig Saloon, best bar food around.

Or go down to business 30, next to "Video X-Press  " and go to the King Street Grill, best breakfast ever.

I'm in Northern Delaware and I'd be willing to make a trip that's less than 2 hours away for a meet up.

Actually, we just had our semi annual gathering in DE (but it was mostly PA people there).

I would have no problem hosting as I seem to be more central for some people. I live in Harleysville, PA, zip of 19438 for those who are interested.

I know for fact I live within 2 hours of quite a handful of people.

Yeah, but we can talk old school Star Trek, I was a pretty big fan of everything from the original series to Ds9 growing up and have been to I think 7 or 8 Star Trek conventions. :)

Well guys, it sounds like there is a bunch of us near the Philly area. I know there is a brew-pub right near Immaculata U (not sure if it is the Flying Pig or not) that was great (food and beer). I would be down to making that trip if you guys wan't to meet up. If you guys have some free weekends coming up, toss out some dates and we'll set it up.

Just from experience with Counterpunch's shindigs, it seems best when we meet up at someone's house first and then go out somewhere (or somewheres) from there. It's less pressure all the way around that way, and things just seem to flow better.

If someone from that area wants to volunteer their place to meet up, we can come up with a date. I am about 2 hours away from there, so I think my place is out.

Probably Winner Circle or Victory Brew Pub, both are great choices. Winners Circle is about 3 miles off the turnpike or off 202/30 bypass with 2 Targets, a walmart, a kmart, and a TRU on the way, would be a great place to meet up after a little toy hunting, or do a little hunting en mass!!

I have been to both of those places. Either of them would be a good choice. Any of you guys have a preference on dates that would work for you?

How about Sat Dec. 5th or Sun the 6th? We hit all the stores, then hit the bar!
