Des Plaines KMart had 2 Rhinox and a Whirl last night, about $26.99 IIRC. No AoE stuff.

And Rosemont Target had a couple each of the new Rescue Bots mini things, Bee, Optimus, and Heatwave. I bought OP, he's Magnus now, and gave the little Trex fig to my daughter.

Ugh, looked for Swerve and Cosmos at Golf Mill Target. None to be found, of course. Thanke Target, appreciate it.

On tje plus side, they had a single one of those upsized-Cyberverse BH Voyager Optimus Primes, $10. Fun to beat on or something.

That sucks that the retailers didn't have their act together with the street date. At least TRU seemed to be on the ball and at least the retailers were on the ball with Cybertron Monday.

Downers Grove Toys R Us by Yorktown had a whole slew of new AoE figures. Most of them were the more kid friendly stuff like the spark racers, Titans, and the power attack figures.

They did have 2 of Voyager Grimlock. I grabbed 1 for myself.

Tried to use a coupon I had, but the check out girl said my coupon wasn't working on it, and neither were any of the coupons codes she had access to.

Hey I'm alive..................

Still working tons, but light is at the end of the tunnel, I will gain free time and lose income...

Anything I have hit in Nw In area has been about useless. Only bright spot was a rogue Whirl at Highland Target a few weeks ago. Everywhere has been pretty much no/low stock in my area.

The Toys R Us in Schaumburg, IL recently put up their full Age of Extinction display in the past few days. Looks pretty impressive and it's great to see the Transformers back as the main focus at Toys R Us again.

I cleared out the wave 5 Micro-Changers at Golf Mill and at Schaumburg. Hopefully between the two stores I'll end up with two full sets so that I can make the alt mode and a robot mode for each one. Fingers crossed!

The only thing new that I saw that I haven't reported on yet was the Mr Potato Head Starscream and Optimus Prime sets. Fun little guys if you've got an extra $7 each sitting around somewhere. Excellent desk fodder for work or home.

The Downers Grove TRU on Butterfield also has their display up, such great art! There's a lot of non-AoE stuff in there, but like you said, it's nice to see TFs front and center again.

They had a couple Grimlock evolution sets and one Strafe set. And those Potato Heads, so cool!

Rosemont Target had 1 Cosmos left and 4 Swerve sets. Lots of AOE toys but the only thing new was the Target exclusive Silver Knight Optimus Prime Smash and Change figure. All of the remaining boxes were damaged ... great if you plan on opening them, not so great if you're a sealed collector.

Des Plaines Kmart had nothing new but had a decent endcap and regular section of products.
