Saw a good bit of TF: Prime figures at Epps Bridge Wal-Mart in Athens today. Saw Soundwave(grabbed it), Ratchet, Arcee, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Wheeljack, Optimus, and Megatron. Everything else had been slim pickings. Anyone else have any luck ?

Tons of Wave 1 Prime figures all around metro Atlanta now, ,esp. at Target & Walmart. Haven't seen Wave 2 Voyager Bulkhead or Starscream anywhere yet, though. Anyone see them around?

I did a thorough check of the Snelville/Lawrenceville/Buford area recently and didn't see anything newer than Legion/Commander/Voyager wave 1 and Deluxe wave 2. There's still loads of Bumblebee, but Soundwave and Wheeljack are actually staying on shelves now, so existing assortments are starting to even out a bit. Oddly, Target has marked old DOTM Deuxes UP to $16, even while Wal Mart is still discounting them to $7.80 or so. I don't know what they're thinking with that, I'll see how long it lasts.

UPDATE: Today I saw Cyberverse Legion wave 2 at the Wal Mart on Lawrenceville-Suwannee and Sugarloaf Parkway. There were about 2 cases worth, plus residuals from wave 1. I took 1 Breakdown and a Vehicon, there should be plenty of pickings left for anybody that wants 'em.

I checked the TRU, Target, and Wal Mart near Mall of Georgia today. A TRU employee told me he didn't think they had any Prime stuff that wasn't on shelves. As far as I noticed, that includes no wave 2 Legion. Wal Mart had the usual mixed bag of DOTM and Prime stuff, nothing new. And Target.....my god, what I saw there was unbelievable. Check it out.

I officially give up hunting for new stuff. I'll either order the guys I want online or buy them at Savcon this June.

Im with ya...I have checked so many Wally Worlds, Targets and a few TRUs and....nothing, in terms of Prime wave 3. I am pretty much after vehicon but I have not seen any Knock Outs or Hot Shots. I have seen a few Ratchets though.

The only rarity I have found was the Bot Shot Bumblebee clear yellow chase figure. I found him down in the Thomaston Wally World .

Your pic of the BBs in Target is pretty sad... I almost went to tears in your disappointment, turning the corner and seeing a peg board like that.

Have you been to Savcon before?...was thinking about making the trip but it just seems so...small. Not sure if it is worth the 4 hour drive for me to go. I wish they would post the names of some of the vendors.

By the way...I am in the Fayette-Coweta area. About 30 miles south of Atlanta.

Well of course it's small, it's their first year. (which also means no, I haven't gone before :P) And heck, getting Neil Kaplan and Gregg Berger in the first year is pretty impressive. It's not Peter Cullen but it's still known-name actors who played main characters in TF shows. Hopefully, as years pass and word gets out, the con will grow and attract more people and higher profile guests. As-is, I'm going because it's the closest TF convention to me by a long shot, and indeed the only Transformers con in the southeast US, except when Botcon goes to Tampa.
As for the dealers, I figure there probably won't be anybody with super rare stuff to sell, but there's almost guaranteed to be a booth or two selling current mainline Hasbro stuff, which is the biggest thing I'm after right now. That and hopefully a ROTF Bruticus Maximus and/or Prime FE Bulkhead. I honestly don't know what else to expect, and that's a pretty exciting prospect to me.

Yeah the Mall of GA area is still bare. I'll check back tomorrow. Haven't checked much elsewhere lately. I will check out the Athens area tomorrow after I get off work. Still just see a ton of BB, a few Cliffjumpers, and a few Soundwaves and thats about it.

OK! Finally we hit paydirt! 1 Vehicon, 1 Knock Out and 2 Hot Shots in the Peachtree City Wal-Mart. All I got was the Vehicon... the KO and HS are still hanging.

I found a lone Voyager Starscream at the Lawrenceville Target (On L'ville-Suwannee and 20) on Sunday. No Bulkhead, no Deluxe wave 3, no new Cyberverse. I didn't take it, but I can't guarantee somebody else hasn't by now. I checked the Snelville Target (on Scenic Highway and Ronald Reagan) but they didn't have anything new in any Prime assortment.

Was out at the Mall of GA area today. Walmart and Target had the same old stuff. Target is starting to clearance out the DOTM items and a few of the Prime helmets. On a good note I found Deadend and Strike Force BB @ Toys R Us.

When I was there last Saturday, the Buford Wal Mart had several of the Cyberverse playsets. Did those all get snapped up already? Also, MoGA TRU had Commander waves 2 and 3. I picked up a Dreadwing and Nightwatch Prime.

The cyberverse sets were still there. And to be honest I forgot to look for the new cyberverse commanders. That's what happens when I have a million things on my mind. Target has been really bare boned for a while, which is kind of a surprise.

Went toy TRU in Fayetteville...they had 15 bumblebees of course and nothing special...like MP Thundercracker for instance :P

Can't wait for MPTC....UGH!

Yeah I know the feeling. Will be nice to have all 3 main seekers in their MP form. I wonder when FoC/Generations waves will start hitting stores? Should be soon as the game releases next month.

Went to the Target in Lawrenceville this morning. They didn't have them on the shelf, but they do have the new FOC deluxes. A case is 3 Optimus Primes, 3 Jazz, and 2 Shockwaves. I grabbed 1 Jazz and 1 Shockwave, the OP boxes were damaged.

Thanks for the heads-up, I'll buzz over there ASAP and see if I can snag that other Shockwave.

That Target, as reported, didn't have them on shelves, when I checked the price scanner it listed them as being in the stockroom. There was nobody around I could ask to pull them out and I'm kind of glad, I saved myself $30 that I need to hold onto for a little bit. Other than that, stores seem to be getting a bit more diverse with Prime, yellow is being broken up a bit more. Though the Wal Mart near 316 in Lawrenceville had a scarce Prime selection and about a dozen DOTM Primes clogging the pegs instead.

Did some looking around on my way home from work today.
Snellville Target: Apparently they just outright skipped wave 3. They had Bumblebees, Shadow Strike Bumblebees, and Dead Ends in droves, but no Hot Shot, Vehicon, or Airachnid at all.

Snellville Wal Mart: Until the Buford TRU got them, this was the ONLY place I had seen wave 3 anywhere in Gwinnett County. They had a sampling of all waves 1-4, but no Vehicons or Airachnids still. Plenty of black, yellow, and green.

Lawrenceville Wal Mart (on Sugarloaf and L'Ville-Suwannee): Nothing but Prime Bumblebee (yellow) and DOTM exclusive Optimus Prime in the Deluxe category.

So wave 4 has hit, but Airachnid is apparently a hot commodity, despite being hideous. Vehicon remains elusive. At least the playsets are EVERYWHERE now.
