Why the plural? Isnt there only one voyager in Wave 4? Anyways, I can always do a price match at Walmart for Broadside, though I am surprised you want him that much.

Oh I was thinking the sale across the board. I haven't seen any wave 4 Titans return and I figured that after shipping it would be about the same or less to get them from you ala Sixshot style. But if none are there I'll just wait. I have Sky Shadow, Brawn, and Chase on pre-order

It is, but the others are just %25 off, so it wouldnt be worth it even with shipping. I have better rainchecks for the leader figures (as I wrote in the TR thread) so that was more manageable to send over.

Actually, is there anyone else with Broadside in the wave case?

Maybe this will finally clear out all those Galvatron at my store. Too bad I can't say the same for all the CW Starscream and Skywarp that are just warming the shelves... From last summer! :BOOM:

Sadly I would not even buy Trion or Train at this price.

Becauuuuuuuuuuuse?
Alpha Trion at 15$ is a pretty fun figure. I didnt regret it at 20$ and I would certainly have not minded at 15$.

As for Astrotrain, that figure is so AMAZING that I paid the full 30$ for him and even today I don't regret it. To pass it at 15$ is pure madness... Unless you already paid an arm and a leg for the Takara version.

Transformers The Last Knight Toyline Found at Toysrus in Canada with Major Price Hike Confirmed

Many Canadians saw a price hike coming due to the new USD MSRPs given by Hasbro for the movie line, but it was collectively put aside in hopes that it wouldn't be the case. However, the Transformers: The Last Knight toyline has finally been found in Canada with those new prices confirmed. The Voyagers are now $40 CDN instead of $30 CDN which is inline with the $30 USD MSRP given by Hasbro back in February (and $30 USD is equivalent to $40 CDN with the current exchange).
The deluxes also have a major price hike, going from $20 CDN ($15 USD) to $30 CDN ($22.50 USD).

Oddly, these toys are not part of the big sale which indicates that all Transformers toys under $80 are 25% off. This may be due to them not being available for sale yet due to the street date, but that is just speculation since there is no record of a Canadian buying these yet (with the prices being so prohibitive).

Since there was confusion by the Canadian community I would like to reiterate that these prices are for the entire movie line since the entire line is under the Premier Edition label. All voyagers and Deluxes are claimed to be at this price point within The Last Knigt line. There is no indication if this price hike will be present beyond the movie line like with the upcoming Power of the Primes Generations line.

This particular sighting was from Quebec and reported by Cybertron.ca board member cloudhopper.

Those are some of the UK prices. UK prices vary a LOT.

Argos in particular has never been great for Transformers pricing. I remember not being particularly impressed during the later waves of Combiner Wars...

Sure but at least it gives him an idea. And it is still unknown if the same variation will take place in Canada since we dont know what Walmart is selling these toys for.

Kind of glad that I stopped collecting a few years ago. Need to take out a second mortgage at this rate if I didn't :ic$:

Let's hope the quality and paint aps justify the prices and the "premier" label.

There can't be anything, anything that can justify that kind of price jump. And remember some of these **** toys are repaints of aoe toys.

Sad fact is that if these prices hold for the future of generations, it will be the virtual end of my interest and ability to maintain this hobby. Even with sales it won't even be in the realm of possibility to continue to buy as I do now. It would be pick up one or two and call it a day.

I can only hope that this is hasbro attempting to milk the casual audience who will be drawn in by the movie blitz. Even then it sickens me because ultimately the biggest audience is still kids. Parents/grandparents/etc buy a lot of tf movie product for their kids. I've helped many parents sort through the confusing mess of tf product on the shelf to find a good toy for their child. These prices put basic tf toys out of reach for kids using allowance or when parents balk at the price as a gift or for a treat. Yes, parents spend money on kids but there is still a thing such as value. I can get a whole hell of a lot more fohr my child for thirty bucks than one small-medium toy.

As a parent, collector, and general human being I am **** goddamn appalled by these prices.
