I get he's the face of the franchise but come on....now if he had the trailer, 70 would be more reasonable but yeah....canada sucks, I should move. :P

Have fun in Trump Country! :-P

I'd take 10 Trumps over one Trudeau TBH. [-(

I found this at my local walmart in California for $50. Seems pricey especially without his trailer.

The price for Optimus Prime without a trailer is a rip-off. It's like they priced him with a trailer but forgot to include the trailer!

Or maybe it's really there, just in subspace storage! ;)

How to tell authentic Walmart reissues from counterfeit?

So, these are popping up on ebay now and wondering how to distinguish the genuine Walmart reissues vs the counterfeit ones that seem to look identical. Any way to tell? It's already sold out online and hate to waste time making a trip to Walmart, which I hate, just to find out they're sold out...

How can one distinguish the authentic walmart reissues from counterfeit ones? I want to get one from ebay but not sure if it's real or not...

Easy, the walmart reissue has no trailer. That never happened before, wven with KOs.
There is no such thing as a mint in box trailerless KO.

New Transformers Sightings from Canada with Studio Series Wave 5, Bumblebee Soundwave and More

They sure took their sweet time getting here, but Canada now has the latest Studio Series deluxe class figures available at big box retailer Walmart. These are Clunker Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Crankcase, WWII Bumblebee and Barricade. The latest Bumblebee movie toys were also found, like Nitro Series Dropkick and Blitzwing and Power Plus Series Soundwave. These were all in a central display which has also been found at US Walmarts. Ratchet, Ironhide and Cliffjumper are still missing at Canadian retail though and nothing past wave 1 for Siege has been found yet. That later part makes sense though since Wave 2 for Siege is expected for April 1st worldwide.

I just figured out that the Bumblebee movie Power Plus Soundwave uses artwork from the original RPM toy.

Rundown of Canadian Sightings with Latest Studio Series and Siege Deluxes and Voyagers

by william-james88
It took a looooooooong time for Canada to catch up to the US for the Studio Series and Siege line but that has changed the past month. Here is a rundown of sightings from the past month:

Studio Series Deluxe wave with Clunker Bee, Sideswipe and Barricade at Walmart
Studio Series Deluxe wave with Scrap Metal and Shatter at Toysrus
Studio Series Voyager wave with Bumblebee Optimus and Rampage at Walmart
Siege Deluxe wave 2 at EB Games
Siege Voyager wave 2 at EB Games

All deluxes are $30 while voyagers are $40.

Walmarts have also been getting the Generations Cyber Battalion Jetfire, Sideswipe, Prowl and Shockwave toys. These are Walmart exclusive in Canada and $20 a piece.

Walmarts have also updated their toy aisle to include an Easter/Spring themed Hasbro display which feature Transformers among their other brands.

Once again, Walmart at Montreal get everything while the one at Laval is a barren wasteland. :(

The only new thing in Montreal is what is in the picture. You really want those Cyber Battalion figures?

Maybe.

I saw the new SS deluxe figures, but no Clunker Bee. Also, no new voyagers either. My Walmart sure may have had everything, but they barely stock so any new things get sold out instantly.

The Cyberverse Warrior Class toys are Practically Being Given Away in Canada

Right now, Amazon.ca is selling the Transformers Cyberverse warrior class figures for $5.88 CAD ($4.41 USD) and the scout class figures for $4.12 CAD (just a little over $3 USD). They were being sold for a similar price on Walmart.ca this past week but now it is just Amazon selling them at this price. Toysrus will price match these prices too. Not sure if they will match with Thundercracker (the ONLY Transformers toy currently skipped by the US) since he is a different SKU number. These toys have proven fun for kids, and that Shockwave is not half bad so at this price it may be worth it for some. Speaking of the Cyberverse warriors, the latest wave with Prowl and Soundwave has been spotted at Canadian Walmarts and should reach Toysrus too.

Animated, RID & Cyberverse all suck! Nobody wants these goofy looking Nickelodeon, Looney Tunes, Spongebob Transformers. The opening scene from the Bumblebee movie is what everybody wants. Someday Hasbro will figure it out. Cyberverse goes straight to clearance because people can see they're over priced Dollar store garbage.

When you have Siege & Studio Series right next to Cyberverse why would any sane person choose Cyberverse? 8-}

Animated was the worst! Even worse than Beast Machines. Peaks & valley's. Animated & Beast Machines were the valley's, the lowest points of the franchise. Now we have RID & Cyberverse. Another low point. Thank God we have Siege & Studio Series to even things out. My Walmart put all the Cyberverse garbage in the clearance section & it still won't sell. Mixing Transformers with Looney Tunes or Spongebob's animation style just doesn't work.
