Honestly, I don't think the lockdown has anything to do with it. If anything, a lockdown should have made TRU get their crap together to make sure they are a reliable online store for new toys. But even in face of that, they refused to ameliorate in any way.

Add the stupid "NO MPM FOR QUEBEC" bull as a cherry on top of that s#it sundae.

For a week now, Toysrus stores in Canada have been getting new stock, and that includes exclusives. By now, most shipments have arrived and collectors have been finding Earthrise Thrust and Runabout as well as the new Ectotron figure on store shelves. They aren't coming in great quantity though with most stores just getting 8 Thrusts, 8 Runabouts and 3 Ectotrons. You can see if your local stores has them in stock on the website.

Ectrotron for 89.99 https://www.toysrus.ca/en/Transformers- ... 33863.html

Thrust for 39.99 https://www.toysrus.ca/en/Transformers- ... BA9DE.html

Runabout for 32.99 https://www.toysrus.ca/en/Transformers- ... EB9A9.html

The previous one was 60$ and at that price I didn't want it.

That’s $90 Canadian. So that’s about $70 USD.

I'm guessing there's a premium price attached to these crossover toys because Hasbro needs to profit share with the license holders? Haven't seen the size of Ectotron myself, but Gigawatt seemed significantly overpriced ($59.99 CDN) to me for what it was.

There's higher and higher.

A deluxe is 30/CAN and a voyager is 40$CAN while a leader is 70$/75$CAN.

Gigawatta is DOUBLE the price.
Ectotron is MORE than double the price.
Only the X-Men guy is relatively reasonable by being 90$CAN instead of the standard 70/75$.

Not so exclusive anymore. X-Men Xover toy is now at TrU.
This mean sooner or later it will be on sale and taken down at regular leader price. I'll bid my time until then.

A miracle!

The Transformers Generations War for Cybertron Galactic Odyssey Collection Botropolis Rescue Mission 6-Pack is in stock in Canada at last!

https://www.amazon.ca/-/en/dp/B0863S8V5 ... yp_imgToDp

At around 77$CAN for the set (free shipping by default at least) it look expensive at first glance. But it's quite a deal in fact. That's two 30$CAN deluxes and two teams of micromasters at 14$CAN at full price. So it's basically a team of micromasters for free, not counting the extra accessories.

At last, I can have that damn thing to go with my Skylinx and Omega Supreme team! :APPLAUSE:

Also, I have to point out that I never ever saw those two ER Micromasters teams in store. Any store.

Canada Transformers Sightings Roundup with Kingdom Wave 2, Botropolis and SS BB Starscream

Canada is seeing lots of new stuff all of a sudden. The Kingdom wave 2 deluxes and leader figures have been found so all of wave 2 has been found at retail, same as in the US. The deluxes and Ultra magnus were found at Walmarts in Ontario.

Voyager Studio Series Bumblebee Starscream was found today at an EB Games in Laval, Quebec.

And the Botropolis set is now available on Amazon.ca

It's been over a month since the pegs at my Walmart are nothing but Cyberverse leftovers. The only new things to ever appear are the Kingdom Core figures and that's it.

Meanwhile in BC I still haven’t even seen Kingdom Megatron yet, with EB Games continuously pushing back his release date. It’s supposed to be out this Thursday according to their system, but at this point I’ll believe it when I see it.

Walmart and Toys R Us have mostly been barren wastelands since like November. I managed to luck out a couple times here and there, but for the most part it’s just been wasted trips.

Buzzworthy Bumblebee line spotted at Toys R Us, if anyone care.

Exclusive Buzzworthy Bumblebee Toys Found at Toysrus Canada + New Price Hike

PostPosted: Fri Mar 26, 2021 8:27 pm
by william-james88
This is fun, another year another price hike. Since Canada was behind on the 2021 toys, only in the recent month has it become clear that any new deluxe released in 2021 from here on out will be under the new price point of 32.99 CAD. This is the case for Walmart, Toysrus and Amazon, the three main Hasbro retailers in Canada. This price hike is being seen across all Hasbro action figures previously at the 29.99 price point, so the Star Wars Black Series and Marvel Legends toys as well.

As for new Canadian sightings, the entire first wave of Buzzworthy Bumblebee toys has been found at Toysrus Canada in Laval, Quebec. These include the Cyberverse and Studio Series rereleases along with the brand new core class mold. That one is being sold for $28 CAD.

Thanks to Kanrabat for letting us know of all this.
