Tankage from the TAAU boards has found MP04 Megatron in a retail store in Melbourne:

MP04 Megatron
$200
Anime Shop in arcade behind Hungry Jacks
Bourke St Melbourne Vic

So any Melbournians who want themselves should head on down there. And yes, Sydneysiders, we get nada.

Snagged the last Jetfire at Myers Penrith today, love him to death. Now I just need the cash to get a Soundwave... how is the stock at Parra?

Also, can anyone tell me how far TRU is from Penrith Station? I couldn't find it...

Penrith TRU is a loooooong walk from the station. Penrith Football Stadium (now CUA Stadium) is about the halfway mark.
There are buses that run close to it on their way to South Penrith and Glenmore Park, however I dont know where the closest Bus stop actually is, or any of the Route Numbers. TRU is only about 500 metres from the M4 if that gives you any indication of how far from the station it is. Its on the East side of Mulgoa road, on the next block west of Dick Smith's Powerhouse.
Last week there were no Soundwave's and I wont be checking it again until at least this weekend. Penrith has very limited stock, and are usually a fortnight or so behind Parramatta and other TRU's.

Toys R Us Tea Tree Plaza was fully stocked with Soundwave Reissues, about 15. So if any Adelaidians are having trouble hunting him down there's your best bet.

Bankstown TRU has a bunch of Soundwaves as well, and they also had a Jetfire, but I got him! Oh and they had some Ramjets and pretty much all the Classics actually. I also got their last dvd Prime. The guy at the checkout tried to crack on to me :?

Ba-dom-ch! :P

What were you doing out Bankstown way Sheo? just the normal hunting?

If anyone wants CLiffjumper, there were 2 of them in Big W Blacktown, along with a couple of Screamers and Mirages. Had a centre aisle display of the 2 pack of classics.
Blacktown Target had 1 Classics Grimlock, but his right arm looked broken and his paint was atrocious, so I left him there (even though I really want him). They too had Screamers and Mirages, as well as Prime and Megatron Voyager classes and about 3 of the Battle for Autobot City Packs.

Kmart Blacktown had 2 Jetfires last Friday night, if anyone still needs, one (or 2), no price tag anywhere nearby, but I would say that the price would be the same old Kmart inflated price. Kmart also had the Prime vs. Megatron sets for $55, which is more expensive than anywhere else Ive seen.

I got a nice black t-shirt with purple decepticon logo on it from Madman at Supanova last year. Perhaps they'll be selling those jumpers there this year. I might have to get one if they are...

Really should make it down to a Supanova, even though now that DBZ has left the spotlight there isnt much to do except spend $$$.

The hoodies are going to be expensive, probably comparable in price to touring bands merchandise.

Has anyone noticed that the TRU site has not updated their catalogue section for about 5 weeks now? Its annoying as all TRU are quite out of my way and I dont like to waste time visiting them when they have nothing on sale/ new stock.

TRU had a half-price cyb. voyager sale all through april. Got that catalogue in the mail but you're right it never appeared on the website (it was a news item here though). As of the weekend they were still in a clearance bin at my local TRU, but I don't know if they'll stay there. I'm hoping we get an ultra class sale next like the canadians are just getting. They're so not worth 60 bucks but i'd pay 30 for a couple of them.

Yeah the only way I was even aware of the TF sale was because of this place.
I visited Penrith TRU but they didnt have $30 Voyagers, in either the clearance section (as you walk in), in the transformers aisle, or even in bins/endcaps throughout the store.

It seems that Big W only reduced their leader class figures to $44 for the week after Easter, as Plumpton had about a dozen of each of Megatron and Metroplex back in the toy section for $89 a piece.

Cybertron Primus is now off the main toy shelf, and has been thrown into the "special clearance centre" in Blacktown Kmart, and has been reduced down to anywhere between $75 and $100 depending on the condition of the box.
Cant tell if all the missiles and extras are in the boxes, but I would assume that unless the box has been opened and resealed there is a good chance they are still there thanks to all the tape and twist ties they put on Primus.

So if you want a Primus check your local Kmart, especially if they too have a clearance section (or a trolley of "marked down stock")
I assume that Primus will be sent back to the distributors before the movie stock comes in, and will become rarer than hens teeth (like Supreme Starscream did).

I know this isn't a sighting because I won the item on ebay but I just want to brag. I received a Voyager class movie Ironhide in the mail today

How much did that send you back Batrim?

Seeing as though the deluxe protoform figures are going for a more expensive NZ$30 rather than (NZ$25) I'm starting to think that Hasbro will move all the class prices up for the movie range, and then keep them there for all following lines, similar to what they did with the Armada line.

Could mean ebaying the figures while the are out in droves and shipping them could be just cheaper than trying to buy them here.

It cost me a shade over $50. Probably a bit expensive considering there is no box or instructions. But he does look awesome even my wife thought he looked pretty cool. Normally when I show her a new TF she says "looks like the rest of them" but this one she noticed the difference.

I'd be very worried if she couldn't tell the difference between the regular toys and the movie toys.
My gf has asked me to not purchase most of the Movie toys, as she thinks they look horrible, Frenzy in particular she hates. But she wants me to get doubles of most of the real gear stuff, so she can have them too.

How is the posability on Ironhide? He is one of the better looking movie figures, but I was a little worried about the oversized guns.

He's pretty cool. Some of the parts of the truck tub that form his are a bit loose and sort of flop around when you pose him. The guns kinda got in the way when I was transforming him but maybe that's because I didn't have instructions
