Ho, fellows! Sainsbury's have wave 2 legion figures!
And I hear tell of some stores (not mine sadly) having wave 3 deluxes!
Go spend your money then, lucky people, for I have none.
I simply perform my selfless duty to tell those who ask about where toys I would want for myself reside.
...Just leave some for me when I find some cash, k?

Pray do tell what wondrous stores are these?
There is NOTHING in East Anglia, and there was nothing in Leeds over the weekend.
Not even wave 1, apart from TRU.

Did I not say Sainsbury's?
I should have qualified the second statement as continuous to the first I see...

I gave up looking round my local stores. Even now ALL they have is wave one and when I say wave one I mean specifically Bumblebee.

In the end I got Ratchet, Arcee, Hot Shot, Vehicon and Knock Out online...

OK you do pay the postage but I got them a little cheaper that they're charging at TRU, plus I figured I still saved on fuel.

You did, and it was, albeit slightly ambiguous. My apologies! :D

I might just wait until Dublin, and raid the Smyths next door to me.

FP Flameblast arrived Saturday from Kapow, just got my hands on him today. Cool wee figure, plenty of poses he can assume, and the weapons (and storage for the pistols) are pretty neat. Never had the Blast Off version of this guy, but going to assume that the fact that some of the joints are so loose is because of mold degradation? The figure itself is fine, but the hinge that the front of the shuttle mode swings back on and the little bits that attach his rocket boosters are a pretty loose. Not terrible, by any means, because neither really affects either mode too much, but it is noticable compared to the usually "almost too tight" FP manufacturing, which is still present on the majority of pieces. I got him fairly cheap anyway, so it's not a huge problem, but a little niggle I have.

Also noticed that he feels a bit smaller than the other Causality guys I have, namely the 3 Insecticons. Again, for the price, he's fine, but if I'd paid an extra fiver or tenner, like most places are charging, I'd feel a bit let down. Last problem I've got with it is the sword. It's pretty cool, and I do always like my melee weapons for TFs, but I wish there'd been a place to store it properly in robot mode when it's not in his hands. So: 3 quite minor things, all of which I've seen much worse examples of in official releases in recent years, but they're just more noticeable here because of Fansproject's otherwise stellar record. Also, he can't be that bad, because I'm still eyeing up Warcry.

Distressing news from my TRU (Norwich): sales of the Prime RID line are not going well, as most of the first shipments of wave 1 are still on the shelves.
Which means they are not currently planning on ordering any further waves from the line.

..:(

I checked ASDA today, and whilst they do have Ironhide and Dreadwing Commanders, and Revealers on £9.73, it's only one case of wave 1 which is on the shelf.

Double :( :(

Anyone feel like getting me a Ratchet?

Morning guys and gals. For those interested I just found wave 3 Bot Shots and Universe minicon packs at my local Morrisons. As always someone beat me to the punch and nabbed Megatron and Thundercracker leaving me the scraps. Pic of a £10 note below  .

Got Ratchet and Knockout online, no signs of Steve anywhere.

Not sure if this will work for everyone, but if you want a 10% off voucher for Buyforless, I got this one: THANKS9265

Ends on 31/07/2012.

That's exactly the same code I got with my invoice so it looks like its generic.

Does anyone want a Takara AM Voyager Starscream, for £40 + P&P?

I'm watching a bid for Breakdown plus Starscream, but I don't really want the latter.

I would have maybe taken you up on the offer Va'al but the Amazon decided they had another box of G2 Bruticus's hidden behind thier sofa. And now I'm broke.

Though thankfully because of the exchange rate, not as broke as I should be.

Knockout arrived today, and I actually really like the little guy, once the transformation is done correctly!

Still needs some paint, though. Shoulder spikes, wheels and maybe the inside of his hood, and shins. Ratchet is on his way too, but he's getting the Reprolabel treatment.

I've said it somewhere else, too: I think there's too much covering going on with the stickers, and I'm not sure about spending more money on him. I already have the paints, just not with me, and I've started doing what I could with Sharpies.

Still a work in progress:

Spotted (and bought) these two little beauties at my local Tesco yesterday afternoon.

Transformers Prime deluxe Arcee and Ratchet for few nice price of £ 9.97 each!

They where the only two on the shelf apart from several Bumblebee, a Cliffjumper and a Wheeljack.

Looking forward to the new Argos catalogue which is out next weekend for more Prime and hopefully FoC goodies? Heres hoping!! ;)

Still nothing in East Anglia, but Ratchet arrived today from Buyforless.
I like him! So far he's ranking well with Soundwave, in the PRiD line.

Reprolabels should be arriving soon for him, too.

This is because there is only 1 of each to a wave 2 case. So out of 16 available slots across wave 1 and 2, 14 of them are the wave 1 figures (that have now been out for 6 months) with Bumblebee most heavily overpacked. Add to this the tendency for companies to over order on early waves and the reasons for our difficulties in finding non yellow TFs become clear.

In light of Hasbros ridiculous decision not to release Breakdown in the west, I've pulled the trigger and ordered the AM version today off eBay.

I'm not a fan of these Micron's either. Any 3rd parties making a more show accurate hammer?

Glad you got Ratchet, Va'al, he's pretty good, eh?

I too appear to be having to order Breakdown off of ebay. He's vanished from Kapow, when I would have ordered him last week if not for their "no pre-orders and in-stock items in the same order" rule. Still there's a few sellers with the Bulkhead and Breakdown AM figures in a set, so I should be able to pick those guys up together and save on postage after all.

He is! My one complaint is the face: too grumpy. :P

I did see one really good deal actually, turned out to almost £35 per figure once the order was made. Was still on eBay last time I checked.
