meanwhile smyths has removed its phantom listings for misfire, windblade, octane etc whilst still using blitzwing to advertise the generations toys :( seriously hope they refuse to stock POTP until hasbro sorts out their distribution.

When the smeg did Universe Inferno get up to £80+

Just looked at ebay. It's crazy. Same with Universe Countdown.

I dont remember Inferno ever being below that price, a lucky buy might have been £60ish but he was usually pricey, sadly it was the foreshadowing of when its cheaper to get the takara version imported than a hasbro toy.. Glad I got the grapple use of the mold back then although the http://www.idtoys.co.uk/transformers-pr ... vac-squad/
seems decent enough to use for him (Im tempted for the asia hotspot, universe blades just to have them in vehicle modes/robot modes to give the combiner wars a bit more variety as individual team members, plus it helps I really like the evac toy/mold anyways even as galvatron)

Oof,not to be a one trick pony but those prices... take 10-15 quid off infernocus and my love of the legends class would've won me over tbh

Just a heads up tho- your boy Thew pointed out on twitter that Sixshot is down to about 28 quid on Amazon? It's listed on the UK site but sold & shipped from their US store, so chuck about a tenner more on there for shipping. Even so, much better than the £60+ he tends to fetch on the aftermarket or at import stores!

Agreed. Even considering the (approx) £7.99 we pay per individual legion class figure, £36 for a set of 5 is still a steep price, specially considering 4 of the 5 are just repaints.

Not sure on the variant, but a large scale "two step" RiD Combiner Force Sideswipe has been spotted in Lidl stores. It's selling for £9.99. Not sure if it's a good or bad price.

Seems like a solid deal if those are your kinda thing! Sure some kids would be happy, it's deffo a good size for the price if nothing else.

...though I'm not sure why the oversimplified kids-market is a thing honestly. I grew up with Armada and sure, they were simpler than most recent figures, but 2- and 3- steps seem like a lurch too far in that direction. (1-steps just about get a pass for novelty). I think 5 y/o me would have been a bit put off, honestly! Or maybe I've just always been an insufferable nerd...

kapows got TR six shot for £30 (If I'd paid that I might have justified an arcee!), I'm not feeling flush enough to buy another five of him... (or the CW legends groove reduced from £25 to £13 at TK mazz....!!!)
Kapows also got some other bits on sale, most stand out to me is the CW liokaiser £65 and the stained mattre...shattered glass mp prime for £80 (there might be a potp one at some point to go with rodimus) but worth a check to see what they have.

Kapow has TLK Slug at £10.99 and Sqweeks at £12.99 (lots of fun for that price) and TLK Drift at £16.99 if anyone needs them or has wanted them but not at the regular prices. :)

I COME BEARING IMPORTANT NEWS:

A1 Toys in Glasgow is selling SDCC Fort Max for... £40!!!

You heard that right. They had the big lad for £99 for months which despite being a steal for a MIB SDCC Fort Max I still couldn't justify. Today they were flying off the shelves but when I left they still had at least 4 left.

I was also told the order to discount it (and other SDCC limited merch, like some MLP stuff) came from above, so check your local A1 Toys and keep an eye on the website (still £99.99 there right now mind).

Happy Hanukkah to me :D

Seeing as potential vaporware smyths listings were announced here recently for POTP, Forbidden Planet has them listed with a 7th January release date on their preorders.
Also they have misfire, sea spray and cosmos available, sadly twin twist is out of stock otherwise I'd have been ordering (still tempted on misfire and cosmos) tho i might get sky shadow -I've been holding off on him in hopes of under £30 with having the classics deluxe version figure.

Primus crazy colours for fifty beans... click and collect only

http://www.toysrus.co.uk/toys/transform ... 9085890001

Also looks like it is part of buy one get second half price offer which would make the One shall stand redecos of classics a reasonable £25 mark. the megatron is good fun for kids with a solid gun mode.

*the smart buy is probably 2x infernocus, can be ordered online and getting one at £20 and the other at £10 seems pretty good with them being TRUS exclusives and the bells are tolling for the stores over here in the news.

Dunno if it counts as a UK sighting since it's not a purchase but an appearance on UK TV but i couldn't find right thread for such thing (move this to one if there is such a thing)

Eastenders 18th December episode featured a robot in the nativity. Wasn't sure what it was but felt like it was something I wanted to look up.

Found it as PlaySkool Heroes High Tide. :P

Edited cos that damn packaging is WRONG. Knew it didn't look like an Optimus. :P

Def counts as a sighting :P never seen that figure before, just usually the large none transforming boat version (which is a good thing otherwise the large transforming boat would definitely have got me into collecting robot heroes)

this is the only one I've ever seen on store shelves and it tricks me into picking it up and looking at it each time, before putting it down. Plus I'd get funny looks if I had something like that by the bath :)

If only they also had TR Slugslinger :(
Still, €33,- is a solid price for Jetfire. Shipping is another €11,- though :(

I am SO kicking myself for not just getting Jetfire for €44,- back then... STUPID! #-o :BANG_HEAD: :-(

B&M had several Leader Jetfires for £24.99 and saw one in TK Maxx for £19.99 some time ago. I passed cos I didn't like the figure

Aw man. If you ever come across a cheap Leader Jetfire (Generations), please let me know. With shipping to The NL, it might be worth it.

Me too, I should have paid the postage for it to be sent on its own rather than trying to cobble up an order for free delivery (I hate waiting in on couriers at the best of times so I like the order to be as big as possible as much as it is about saving money -not saying i'm not tight but hey :P). relly not a fan of the Chrome on the hasbro release. I'll try and sell my classics jetfire if I ever pick him up, failing that the Fanstoys version is on my wants list some where down the line of masterpieces to get.

There's a fantoys Jetfire? :O

edit: oh never mind. It's Skyfire. I always hated that blocky bot with dorky face and bricky jet design for not being the sleek Macross mech even though I knew they did that why even back then. I just thought they could have done better...

Guess the original G1 Jetfire toy is still my fave Jetfire toy (also my fave ever G1 toy)
