not including starscream, who do you think is the most powerful/most dangerous of the seekers and why? it seems a strange choice, but im probably going to go with ramjet.

hes the strongest out of all the seekers, and the most durable. his speed, according to the dreamwave profiles is mach 2.8, making him as fast as starscream, only less skilled in the air. he has significant firepower and his unpredictable tactics and resistance to pain would let him keep fighting long after most transformers would give up.

skywarps main power is his teleporting, but hes aparantly too stupid to use it effectively without megatron guiding him.

thundercrackers power is unlikely to be very effective against him because of his high durability.

thrust is fast and loud, but ramjet could probably survive his initial attack, unnerving thrust and probably force him to make alot of mistakes.

dirges power is fear, but ramjet is largley fearless, so even if dirge managed to lower ramjets courage it would probably only make him more cautious and less suicidal in his attacks, making him more effective.

I mostly agree with your line of thought here UU. ;)^

If Thrust and Dirge weren't depicted as cowardly they could actually out do Thundercracker and Skywarp rather than come off as poor replacements. Ramjet seems to be the brawn that Starscream's brains needed. He lacked the traitorus yet scientific mind of Starscream but made up for it with his overly macho yet loyal warrior style. Each were wreckless in there own way, and both would fall short as a leader. Ramjet makes the closest rival to Starscream as a seeker which technically makes him the second best seeker of the 2 sets.

IMHO Skywarp and Dirge were ment to have the most useful of abilities. Giving them a destinct use in the eyes of there respective squadron leaders. Thrust and Thundercracker were ment to balance out with the technically better firepower than the other two even if equaly as effective.

If Skywarp actually stopped and THOUGHT for a moment, he would be the seeker with the highest advantage. But... stupidity will do things to you....

Thundercracker. He the most was well rounded Seeker, and pretty clever. Factor in his homing missiles and he's tough to beat.

If Skywarp had a brain, he'd win. Sometimes a cool colour scheme just isn't enough...

Agreed, he can kill all other seekers combined.

While Sunstorm would have been my blanket choice to Stormwolf;but given his DW profile refrence, unique_username not even mentioning the golden seeker, and DW closing without the release of a true Sunstorm profile, I think he's excluding the semi-seeker clone retcon.

Disadvantage wise, There are reasons for Ramjet to loose against a few of the other seekers.

Thundercracker is smarter, and likely to have more combat experience being in Starscreams presumably more active squad. His firepower is slightly higher almost leveling the aerial endurance playing feild. Hand to hand though T-cracker is getting cracked.

Skywarp has a lot going with his teleporting, and his intelegence isn't any lower than Ramjet's. While there are claims of Skywarp lacking the creativity to properly exploit his abilities, There is no reason to think Ramjet would try, let alone be able, to outsmart the teleporting wingmech of Starscream. Even in hand to hand Skywarp would still have a chance from his DW profile.

Thrust is just as strong, can double Ramjet's top speed for a few minutes, has greater firepower, and intellegence. While he can't take the same punishment, his quick brutal strikes at the start of a fight could slow Ramjet down enough for him to finish him in long run. However, between his fear of a credible comeback and being in Ramjet's squadron, I think Thrust knows he can't go the distance with his leader.

Dirge lacks the strength to fight hand to hand, nor the endurance to match damage with Ramjet. He' smarter though; Smart enough to know he can't use fear on a relatively fearless foe.

DW's Sunstorm was literally a "monster of the week" character. He was defeated through non conventional means after holding his own, then defeating OmegaSupreme. The means used to defeat the electrum-like seeker are impossible to employ without access to Starscream and intelegence comparable to Jetfire. The combined six seekers could beat him if Starscream and Dirge work out the means used to defeat him in DW's run. Thought Sunstorm's defeat would be a very tall order, should 4 of the seekers survive the first encounter, there would still be a good chance.

A seeker housing a stronger reactor than Shockwave (and equivalent firepower), a regenative frame that mimics electrum (ie tough like hulk and heals like hulk), and has the fuel requirements of Starscream (not much) is more than a match for Starscream (whom he was a modifide clone from in DW) let alone any other single seeker. The initial toy's character profile is much easier to defeat.

yeah, i left out sunstorm, though hes a jet, and a starscream clone i never thought of him as part of the seeker group. and hes just way too powerful for there to be any discussion if he was part of it.

I'm sorry, I can't remember all the names, but the Seeker 'Conehead' that had the VTOL engines, couldn't that give him a slight advantage in maneuverability? I'm talking strictly vehicle mode here, though.

Starscream is leader for a reason. He's the best overall.
