They're not bad-- they're the misunderstood anti-hero. And we have zergs too-- they're called 'undead'... and we can make a lot of them... as well as the fact that we have more blood elf paladins than you have players in quite a few servers.
But you forget, the trend seems to be, the majority of crappy alliance players went horde in the expansion so they could be horde, and still be paladins, and be elves.
Then the good horde switched over to the draenai shaman.
But, yeah, the Alliance would still win. For the most part, it seems like we have one too many Zap Brannigans, we'll throw wave after wave of men at them till we win.
Where's the data man? I have mine. *Points to the top of the thread*
Oh-- and we are supposed to get bears and walrus-men in the next expansion!
By "supposed to", you do mean that "we've seen some screenshots of Northrend places, seen some walrus guys, giant dwarves and now the wild unfounded rumors are being thrown around left and right on who we get for new races if any at all" right?
Because yeah, there is nothing saying, or even hinting at any possibility of new races. Unlike with Burning Crusade where we were told we were getting new races right off the bat.
Also, of course people are going to vote for Horde. Because they're cooler. Cool doesn't necessarily mean one will win.
But, you do have undead. Actually forsaken. They are intelligent undead. Which is, from what I understand from the forsaken starting area pretty hard to accomplish. Considering that the very first quest text talks about "we were beginning to think you wouldn't make it" which can be led to believe one of many things. Prospective forsaken will either stay dead, become forsaken, or just become mindless undead.
Also, the Alliance has, for a long long time now, outnumbered the horde 3 to 1. Populations on Wow can be checked relatively quick by comparing battleground queues. For the alliance it's usually a half-hour to hour wait. While Horde side, a few minutes.
Player wise, the horde are usually the more mature players since seasoned gamers usually play horde because they don't seethings as "I don't wanna be the bad guys" crap. But then the expansion has changed that. I know there are damned good players on both sides. And probably an equal amount of stupid people.
Pitting Alliance vs Horde in an all out war in the game. The Alliance would probably end up winning, just because of more numbers. Plus some better racial buffs for pvp.
Now, if you look at it from a fantasy standpoint. It is still a pretty even match-up. Which is how Blizz wrote it. Each side has their advantages.
