their both highly intelligent, and among the most skilled of all the transformers. jazz isnt particularly strong, but relies on speed and skill to keep him out of harms way. bludgeon however is devoted to martial arts, and prefers very close combat.
this fight is in an open area, meaning jazz can use hit and run tactics and keep a distance as long as possible.

I'd say Bludgeon. He's much more viscious and brutual. And he's much more tactical than Jazz. After all, he slaughtered and left all those Autobots to die in Klo. Jazz is fast, but not fast enough.

Pre Pretender Bludgeon could probably take down Pretender augmented Jazz. Having said that on a level playing field Bludgeon before the Pretender process vs Jazz, Bludgeon would win, he's far smarter and a better tactician, his tank mode is more suited for battle then Jazz' Porsch mode. Pretender vs Pretender, Bludgeon still wins hands down.

im pretty surprised the way this has gone. i knew bludgeon would carve almost anyone up in close combat, but i figured his lack of speed over anything but short distances would score jazz a few votes. jazz has alot of speed in robot mode, and even more in vehicle, so i figured hed have a chance in an open environment by shooting from a distance and evading bludgeons firepower, given that hes devoted himself almost exclusively to melee combat i dont think hes an exceptional shot.

Bludgeon is going to take this, Jazz could only win this if he could snipe Bludgeon from some distance away.

In terms of obscuring the battlefield, Jazz has a dazzling and deafening sound and light show while Bludgeon has a thick smokescreen. Both would be used simultaneously. Jazz would be prepared for these kinds of conditions. He would still be able to find his way around, even blind and deaf. He would memorise the area and work from that. He would use his superior speed to rush Bludgeon, grab his big sword and stab him with it. I believe that Bludgeon's sword could penetrate his shell and inner body, if enough force were applied. Bludgeon wouldn't be expecting this move. He'd react too slowly. Jazz would win.
I imagine that Bludgeon would disgust Jazz, due to his mucus generators and general cruelty. That would give Jazz extra impetus to use a bold, decisive move against Bludgeon.
