one matched Shockwave blow for blow in marvel's TF comic the other had his flesh pealed off in a IDW spotlight along with the rest of his Dinobot team.
I mean... who wins?

i think shockwave and scorponok were pretty evenly matched until their fight ended. theyd wrestled around a bit and shockwave had been knocked over when they were interrupted, but neither were very damaged. seeing how easily shockwave can fight all the dinobots at once, and the fact that he can dominate all of them simultaneously makes me think scorponok could win this fight without any touble.

I'm pretty sure Grimlock would find a way to win, I can't imagine him losing.

I can't imagine him loosing, except in this case. G1 Scorponok is in a different class than Grimlock.

Marvel comic battle: Grimlock (the early version of him may be beaten by Scorponok, but the pre-AM Grimlock would win, he's gone through a lot of experiencing)
G1 cartoon battle: Scorponok (the dumbest Grimlock against the biggest version of Scorponok... one-sided battle)

We saw this in IDW comics: Grimlock lost. Scorponok is bigger and stronger, with more weapons.
