Brawn of course...in the G1 mythos, Brawn was the second strongest Autobot, second only to Prime. The only time I saw him go down was when Megs shot him multiple times with his cannon.

I remember that because that helped me pick him out
Transformers were expensive, and my first one was a Mini-bot....SOOooooo, I picked out the best of them. Small but he packs a punch. To top it all off none of my friends could deny what his profile said LOL the profiles were law!!

Inferno goes down in the first round.

Inferno is just as strong as Brawn as well.

Maybe as far as stats go...but on Brawn's bio it specifically states he is the 2nd strongest Autobot. So despite them both having 9's on the bio, clearly Brawn has some sort of edge over everyone else.

Brawn is physicaly like a G1 Rhinox only relatively smaller.

I like Rhinox and I like Brawn. I also think the tough minibot was capable of using his strength effectively in a fight. Inferno is twice the mech by size but pound per pound isnot a match. I don't think he had much of a combat display in the 80s toon anyway.

I'll reckon Brawn.

And Inferno info said that his strength is among the greatest of the Autobots. I think Brawn have a competiton.

It's obvious you are partial to Inferno..lol...why ask the question of the "what if" if you dont like the answers or feedback?? So here you go...

Tech Spec

"Might over microchips."
To Brawn, Earth is essentially a hostile environment - and he loves it. Strong, rugged, agile - the most macho of all Autobots. Delights in challenges. Sorry for those not as tough as himself. Second strongest Autobot - can lift 190,000 pounds and knock down a small building with one punch. High resistance to artillery fire. Vulnerable to attack by electromagnetic waves.

Notice that it say SECOND strongest Autobot, not ONE of the strongest. Funny thing is, I just read Inferno's bio, and it doesnt mention that he was "one of the strongest," but it did say that Inferno isnt very mobile in bot mode and he gets distracted in a fight...

Hmmmm, I'd have to say Brawn is the winner since he LOVES to fight and his maneuverability as a Minibot would whoop Infernos metal ass. That's based on stats alone...despite my personal connection to Brawn via personality test and being my 1st TF.

In my opinion, I say Inferno would beat the daylight out of Brawn with his strength and firepower.

You seemm kinda offended in your tone :P

Like I said before...Why did you even ask this "What If" fight if you dont like the answers you've gotten? It's right there in the "tech specs" if you'd open your eyes. I guess it urks you that everyone else that has posted on here agrees with me. What part of "second strongest Autobot," dont you get? Not to mention, Inferno's "fire power?" Brawn took MULTIPLE hits from MEGATRON in a couple fight before he went down, so what makes you think Inferno would compare to that??? (Actually it doesnt...Megs fire power=10; Inferno fire power= 6)

Yes, I am a Brawn fan, but even if I wasnt, everything you need to know to answer Brawn vs. Inferno is in their tech specs. We're all entitled to our opinions, but facts are facts. I dont think you will find many TF fans that will argue with the facts of the Tech Specs.

WINNER= Brawn; when he runs circles around Inferno's barely mobile bot-ass, Brawn jumps on his back, punches him in the back of the head, pulls out his processor and shows it to him before before his spark leaves his body.

While Brawn and Inferno are about the same in terms of raw strength, Brawn wins this match by virtue of his superior agility. True, Inferno has an edge in firepower, but not enough to defeat his densely armored opponent. He's considerably smarter, but Brawn is a much more skilled hand-to-hand combatant, virtually unstoppable in close quarters. However, Inferno might have a chance if he manages to keep his distance, firing his missiles and wearing Brawn down--though that would surely be time-consuming. I suppose he could try to get his hands on an electromagnetic weapon to exploit Brawn's only physical weakness, but I suspect he might not have a chance to do so.

As far as Brawn being regarded as the "second strongest" Autobot, that only applies as far as the first-year characters, since subsequent characters, such as Grimlock or Omega Supreme--not to mention the combiners and cityformers--are clearly stronger. So I won't overempathize this point. Brawn's still a tough customer by any standard, though!

If I recall correctly, I'm pretty sure that Brawn has picked up Megatron and thrown him across the battlefield in the cartoon. I say Brawn wins.

When Brawn was a small child, he went shopping with Mummy and Daddy. On Main Street, a fire engine went past the family. As it drew close, one of the firemen turned on the siren. The sound was so loud and unexpected that Brawn was traumatised. He developed a hatred of fire engines and firemen.

That's why Brawn smashed up Inferno and then had to go into psychotherapy with Rung. Prime had to create a replacement Inferno and cover up the whole incident.
