Clayface (Dc's foe of the dark night)
Toph (Avatar's best blind earth bender, even bent metal..)
Gara (Naruto sand king; after the seperation from his demon)
Terra (Dc's earth moving teen titan)
Ryoga (Ranma's longest rival. Still not to be underestimated)

Senario #1
- Ben Grim must face them one after the other in single combat alone.
- fights start at a park near the FF tower.
- The order of the matches may be changed except for Sandman and Ryoga.

If Thing is way out of his league here...

Senario #2
- Free for all at the park
- Clayface and Sandman can team up
- Ryoga can sit this one out till the end...

If it's too easy for Gara...

Senario #3
- Rage against the redhead! Gara take all challengers!
- Ryoga can sit this one out til the end... again

The Thing wins. His hide may look like orange rock, but it's not rock, nor is it Earth. Leaving Gara, and Toph to using only their element against him, instead of using him against himself.

That said, he can easily club Sandman and Clayface into submission.

He'd have some trouble with the rest, but his sheer endurance, brute force, combined with everything he's learned working with the FF for years, he'd be able to come out on top.

They all fall into a giant cement mixer and become part of the US Interstate network renewal programme.
