Sand Ninja: **revision** of Part 2

Gaara- Retains the same powers over sand but lacks the one tail spirit within. The sand bending 5th Kazekage.

Kankuro- After Sasori destroyed his three puppets, **has gained the laters human puppet of the metal bending 3rd Kazekage.**

Temari- Fan, wind attacks and summons; Same as in Part 2

Team Avatar: end of Book 2, just before Azula shoots lightning at Aang.

Aang- Master of three elements, might use fire bending or Avatar state as last resort

Kitara- Master water bender, skills extending to ice bending and healing

Toph- Master earth bender, skills extending to metal bending and blind fighting

Fight takes place in the mineral cave from Avatar at end of book 2. Which team comes out on top?

The Avatar kicks mass amounts of ass. It really isn't a contest.

Aang having the Avatar state just solidifies the victory.

I think it'ld be a pretty good match.

Aang doesn't pose the greatest threat from his team, Toph does.

Gaara fighting from the air with sand, which Toph has trouble 'seeing' though no problem bending, he might be capable of taking her one on one still. But barring the 5th Kazekage learning and exploiting her few weaknesses early, my moneys on Toph. Though this isn't a one on one fight...

Kankuro is little more than my excuse to use the 3rd Kazekage puppet, who bends iron quite well. Toph, while capable of bending metal, is no master of iron yet. She would find trouble defeating this puppet, but Kankuro is not a well guarded target either. Toph should still have an edge in a solo match which, as stated before, this is not.

Temari has wind attacks and can fly using her fan. Her big iron fan. At the end of book 2 I think Toph would have a 50/50 chance of getting close enough to notice and bend her fan. This would end the fight except for Temari's possible summon which also holds an iron scythe.

Each of the sand members have a weakness against Toph but are familiar enough with a Sand bender to fight her Earth bending skills. It's how good her metal bend is that would win the group fight.

Kitara is likely the greatest water bender from the avatar world by the end of book 2, though she doesn't show her mist bending that prominently until book 3. I don't think she could do much against Gaara alone, and the puppet of the 3rd Kazekage should breech her Ice defenses. Temari is her best chice for an opponent, as Kitara is familiar with Aangs own air bending, but again this is a group fight.

When push come to shove, Aang will likely use the avatar state like in the end of book 2. I'ld like to think it would end in better results regarding this vs fight. Before this happens though could Kankuro scewer him with Iron or Gaara use desert coffin? Aang may be good at earth bending but likely not skilled with sand, and even less likely to bend iron.

Sure Kankuro can't block the wind, even with is puppet, but Aang can't afford to simply block his metal with rock either. Aang could breech Gaara's ultimate defense, though it should be easier for Toph if she got close. Kitara might be able to slip water through Gaara's sand as the fight progresses, but she would need support.

<hr>
The Sand ninjas have experience, but Aangs team does work well together. I see some of there possible tactics working, for both sides, but it would all come down to Aang in the Avatar state against Gaara. Without the one tail, he's bound to loose if unaided.

They're all benders. They like to hang around near the public toilets, making people feel uncomfortable.
