Vader.

Come on, he was the one who killed Sideous! Didn't do him any favours in the end though, he still died.

The big three. The paranthesees means that these guys got together before hand and probably planned this out. Sidious doesn't stand a chance.

I have this theory, I've said it before, so I guess I'll put it in quotes:

If you were to put Palpatine in a room with two other people, no matter the circumstance (I.e., they could be lifelong friends) he will be able to them against each other, and possibly get them too kill one-another, given enough time.

Even then, another part of his power (combat skill) is entirely up to speculation. On the one hand, perhaps he sensed Anakin coming, and purposely gave Mace Windu the upper hand, only to play his "weakness" off, and get Anakin to kill Mace, and further him along to being a Sith.

On the other hand, perhaps he wasn't actually capable of facing off with Mace's Form VII, and Anakin coming along was purely a stroke of luck.

Even so, the only two who pose a threat to Sidious are Maul and Dooku (Given that Vader, with his restricted movement, often only won fights based on luck), Dooku with his strict, rigid, no-nonsense combat form, and Maul on the other end of the spectrum, with his complex, nearly balletic style.

As such, since Maul is such a badass (And I wish I hadn't lost my double-ended Lightsaber toy), I give this to Maul, Dooku, and Vader.

I think we could change this to Vader against the other three... He had more power than any of the others, even Palpatine was afraid of him, but he could manipulate Vader long enough.

Have you read Dark Lord: Rise of Darth Vader? It really shows off just how shoddy his suit was, that his limbs were unresponsive, his respirator essentially gave him asthma, (Making it hard to fight too much) and his helmet lacked peripheral vision, and tinted everything red, making it hard to distinguish colors.

And then, when he drops a Jedi Master using Form VII, you have to wonder how he managed doing half the stuff he did.

I think it was mostly luck.

Those three would merge to form Darthasaurus Vex. It would be so silly that Sidious would laugh himself to death. Darthasaurus wins.
