Spiderman. Not just the intelligence, not the gadgets, but the spider-sense and his strength would win the battle.

No kidding. The original quote is like saying "Batman, because he's strong."

You know, Peter developed the fluids that make the webbing he uses. Also, he made the web-shooter that shoot them.

Batman is smart, but he never was very inventive. He happens to have his own R&D department, many of whom (Lucius Fox!) are pretty good at keeping secrets, or don't know how to put two and two together. (AKA, the Daily Planet Syndrome)

Last time Peter used an R&D department, it belonged to Tony Stark, and Ironman stabbed him in the back soon after.

Also, Spidey happens to have one major advantage: Superpowers. super strength, speed, durability, and agility, not to mention the Spidey-Sense and the ability to stick to walls.

Wow....that has to be one of the worst reasons I've ever seen.

And yeah, Parker would win, for the sole fact that he does have the spider-sense, plus all the super-powers.

While Batman may be a better fighter, Spider-man has he advantage of superior agility, the spider-sense, and super-strength.

Although, while Batman does have an R&D department, he(in the comics) invented most of the things he uses as Batman, like the device that calls bats to him, he ended up creating it, but never gave it to Wayne Enterprises to sell.

Is he? Not that I disagree (I don't know much about Batman in terms of his fighting), but Spidey has been free-styling for a number of years now, not to mention now he's gotten training from Cap, Iron Man, etc. I'm sure he's also picked some stuff up from FF, Wolvie, whomever else....

Batman is supposed to be practically a ninja when it comes to fighting ability. If he were as strong as Superman, he'd probably be able to beat Superman and Goku at the same time.

Spiderman only wins because of his super powers, however if Batman was able to survive a fight with Darkseid, he may have a chance (however small) of winning.

yep and come to think of it batman is a good person, because he didn't kill his enemy, he will let the enemy be in prison. he has no mutant skills, he uses he fighting ability to win against the enemy and batman has many kinds of strategies.

"Kevin Conroy" Batman wins (any and all battles).

Any other Batman loses to Spidey.

Give him the equipment he had to fight Darkseid and he could beat an army of Spider-men. Mother boxes can do virtually aaything.

Batman he has beaten people with ten times the power Spidey has

No, Batman has beaten people who have billions of times the power Spider-man has.

Effective! But is it legal?

Though I too think Spidey has the upper hand, I can remember Batman doing pretty much the same. (and his safeguards are more effective than Stark's)

I think it realy comes down to their ability to fight rather than going back to the lab. While Spidey has his spider-sense, Batman is good at predicting the next move. His fighting skills can probably give Spidey a hard time. And while he probably can find a way to dissolve spidey's webbing, Spidey can change to another set of webbing. (that depends on the cannon used though) But that's all getting back to the lab. It depends how many rounds are allowed cuz none of them would willingly kill the other. Batman is also known to get a little jalous of other's powers and copy them in a way. He could probably analise the webs to make bat shaped webs or something...

And the one thing nobody talked about: What if Batman gets his Batman Beyond suit? I'm pretty sure in that case that Tiger would eat dust big time.

Just like Spidy!

I say Spider-Man, he can be a real threat, has powers, is damn smart (afterall he would have become a scintist for that lab in NY), he has the Spidersence.
And if he can survive guys like the Breeen Goblin, Venom, Carnage and Doc Strange's much hated arch enemy, then yes he kicks Batsys but.

But we all know, they are friends.

Unfortunatly guys I have to say Batman would win.

I dont like this at all as im Marvel through and through but facts are facts.

In DC versus marvel Captain America and Batman fought and it was amazingly close until Batman won (Lucky batarang shot but hey a win is a win)

Then in Civil War Spidey and Captain America threw down and Spidey was getting hammered until he used the "Spider Legs" on his Iron-Spider costume, then as all great hero versus hero fights finish up they go their seperate ways before a winner is clear. However without the Legs of the new suit I believe would have lost.

So therefore without the addition of the "If and But" Machine ("What if spiderman was wearing his teflon pants and the moon was full") Batman beats Captain America, Captain America Beat Spiderman so (Unforunatly) Batman beats Spiderman.

It would be immensly close but thats how I see it going.

It doesn't work that way. Particularly when difference between winning and losing are so tight. (tights hehe...) An advantage against one opponent might not be as glaring against another opponent and the same goes with weaknesses. Those are battles fought in particular situations with are not necessarily proofs that the winner would win in any situation. Unless the battle is set with specific background, it is the general set of abilities that gives the victory to one of the opponnents.

Maybe so but Batman has provel time and time again that ,given the time and intel, he will beat every one.It may sound stupid but he is a master tactistion. He has plans for every thing and is not above cheating or making it look like he is putting someone else's life in danger to gain an advantage.

I can see him making it look like he has ether MJ or Aunt May in some danger just to get Peter off blance for a sec to beat him.

That would be a VERY bad idea!
Spidy always goes mental once his family is in danger, he gets a lot more power and brakes things with ease!
Remember that ish in which he lifted that huge pile of junk just so he could get Aunt Mays medecin!
Or the Spiderslayer which he put his fist thrue it's metal chest cos it threatened to kill Mary Jane!

Oh and I remember that fight with Cap, he wasn't really fighting, he didn't want to fight him, that's why he had his mind on something els then fighting him.
He was to busy admiring Cap.

Yeah but his power and strengh wouldnt matter to Bats.....Batman has beaten guys with 100 times more power then Spiderman and his going mental would only help Batman more.Spiderman only real chance at a win is to stay calm and collective and not lose control of his temper.
