Warhammers 40000's humans "good guys" vs. everyone's beloved bad guys.

This is a galaxy wide war.
The Imperium : 4th version of WH40k.
The Decepticons : G1 Comics+Cartoon at their highest. (I think they'll need it...)

this is an awesome fight so i hope people actually give it some attention. i have no idea whod win though. soldier for soldier the decepticons have an advantage, but the marines are nearly infinite in number, and have weaponry that can cause alot of damage. ill do some research and come back to this, but i hope in the mean time there are a few interesting replies.

One word: Titan.

Other than that this is a toughie, especially seeing how broad you could go with both factions.

I think that it would be way more epic if the Imperium went up against the G2 Decepticons.

Razorclaw's cruiser (the Thanatos) was capable of destroying a entire world.

what he said... when G2 Megs isn't your biggest individual threat, kinda keeps things interesting

In Warhammer 40k there is ONLY war. And like the tittle says, it has been so for thousands of years. Decepticon might be million years old but war is not all they do. And their constant need for energon is not shared by their opponents. Space Marine technology enables them to open vortexes in the warp; hell. In this dimention they can travel beyond light speed and even attack their opponent's soul directly. And I'm pretty sure the sparks are also in present in the warp. This will make the decepticons they were mere toasters. Space Marines are warriors geneticaly engenered to make war against atrocious aliens, regenerating robots, demons and highly advanced space fairing elves. Not only are they geneticaly engenered they also have cybernetic implants to mentaly interface with their armor. Space Marines are ethernal and even when mortaly wounded can keep on fighting in huge robotic bodies known as dreadnoughts.

The Space Marine Armies also have incredibly powerful and resiliant tanks with firepower rivaling that of most high ranking Decepticons. But all that is just a small part of what kind of power they have on the ground. Above all that, their starships are very destructive and designed to level whole planets.

The dark crusades of space marines kills regularly billions of individuals. And unlike most decepticons, "They shall know no fear"

i say imperium but so far apart from the abdeptus titanus its just been space marines Vs cons what about the imperial guard they have heavier weapons than marines and have greater number. plus there is the oudos xenos that specilise in fighting xenos technology which the con are. so my result goes to the God emporer.

are we talking all branches of the imperium? Imperial guard,Space Marines,Witch hunters ect?Cybertronians may have better Arms but
look at Warlords,wolfhounds,baneblades,and other types of titan killer weapons.Decepticons would lose to number,and I think titans are way larger than other then gestalts.Its like one planet compared to 1/4 of the galaxy

The Decepticons may seem to be hopelessly outmatched. However, they are more advanced. They can spread viruses through the Imperium's ships, weapons, bases, armour, vehicles, cities, systems, etc. Eventually, the Imperium will fall as their own gear turns against them. Meanwhile, the Decepticons will build drone armies to sweep away the remnants of the Imperium.
